Harden's first two years in Houston he had 46 and 45 dunks respectively. Last year he had 4. None this year, obviously.

It's probably too soon to say Brooklyn dodged a bullet on his extension (particularly since there's no Plan B), but he's been bad and I don't think the rule change is playing as big a direct part as people assume. Indirectly, I do think it's in his head. But the primary thing is that he is physically a mess.

I guess I'll take the time to preemptively crow about how I stated Harden's physical/athletic decline was significant the past two years, and that I don't think he's a shoe-in All-NBA dude anymore. Fat, lazy dudes with garbage work ethic don't tend to age very well...

James Harden kind of reminds me of Anthony Mason how he got fat and washed up really fast. The same thing happened with Mason, Mason was actually an all star with the Heat in 2001. Then we signed him and it seemed like at some point during his flight from Miami to Milwaukee he became fat and washed up.
