Some good names on here. I've talked about how excited I am to get a look at Badji in a more open, faster paced league. Extraordinary upside as a rim runner, vertical spacer, and rim defender.

I've always liked Porter's heady all-around game; those back to back ACL injuries may have taken him out of NBA prospect range, but big smart guys don't grow on trees so I wouldn't totally write him off. But we may have signed him to ensure MarJon a familiar face in Oshkosh (teammates at Nathan Hale in Seattle under Brandon Roy).

Wigginton, Bone, Edwards, Sibert, Molinar is an impressive G League backcourt. You can throw Green in there but looking at this roster, it's increasingly strange that he's the one on the two way. All these guys are either better overall players or have more obvious upside.

Forwards look solid with Wieskamp, Hughes, and Mamu (although I suspect he'll be a part time Herd at most). Not familiar with Flowers but his [low major] highlights are intriguing. Not expecting anything out of Alex but I'd love to be surprised.

Surprised to not see Bolden here. Apparently SLC had his rights.

I loved Jontay coming out of the draft, and while he hasn't done a thing since then, I still hold that stock.His shooting, rebounding and shot-blocking numbers were great in college if he can just stay healthy.

Haven't paid attention, but oooo Jontay Porter and Badji. Won't ever get mad about getting a look at a young kid developing at a club like Barca with their resources.

I only saw the 1st half, but Porter was nice. Skilled and smart. Not real athletic, but he might get some of that back if he stays healthy for a bit.

I went to the game on Friday. My thoughts on players:

1) Kostas, who plays for Chicago, had a nice game, but is limited and I can't ever see him on an NBA roster (except the Bucks for obvious reasons).

2) Chicago has an undersized guard, Chris Clemons, that killed the Herd. Otherwise, the Herd played a good game.

3) Alex A. for the Herd didn't do much. Kostas is a much better player.

4) Joe Wieskamp will have a hard time making an NBA roster. He's a tweener who is too small to guard forwards and not quick enough to be a guard. He had a nice second half and is a good all around player, but not great at any one thing.

5) Lindell Wigginton was good, as usual. Might warrant a call-up if there are injuries.

6) The one player who stood out for me was Rob Edwards, who played for Arizona State. Excellent defender and plays smart at 6'5". Good leader. He started some games for OKC a few years ago.

7) And finally, there was Jontay Porter. His one leg was wrapped tightly and he had a very slight limp. But boy, can he shoot. He doesn't start for the Herd. but he was instant offense when he came in. In pre-game, he was hitting 25 foot bank shots over and over. Just a natural shooter. He's got very good size, but not much quickness. He will hunt his shot, but otherwise plays unselfishly.
I just think his lack of quickness, due to his injury, will keep him from the NBA. But there are very few Bucks who can shoot like him.

8) Forgot to add that the Herd 7 foot center is a blocking machine. Great timing and length. Can't do anything else.

I think Weiscamp has a good shot. He measured really well in the 2021 draft combine. He had a 42 inch max vertical and ws 4th in the lane agility test. The key for him will be proving he'll be a 3 point specialist.

Why does almost nothing on the G League site work? Was great 2 seasons ago and degraded over the course of last season. You can't even look at a box score there now.
