Pretty sure my group is going Syndicate on the West coast. Not sure of a server yet, just as long as there are no streamers.

Any NA East server. I don’t know any IRL friends playing so I’m open to joining the same server as some of you guys. I don’t really care about faction, I’m down for whatever.

All good. I had better ping on East, but a bunch of my gamer buddies are West Coast so their Eastern ping would be worse than mine on the west. If anyone else rolls west for some reason, as of now it's looking like we'll also be Syndicate on Yggdrasil server.

Yggdrasil is a sacred tree and one of the best names ever. Bummed it's not out East.

ETA: LOL both are apparently Playstation releases too so two of the three things I cared about I won't even be playing on the Switch.
Any of those Castlevania games worth playing? Always been amused that I love Metroidvania games and yet have never played Castlevania nor Metroid.
I'm kind of with you. I grew up with the NES Castlevania games, which predate the Metroidvania format. Have also never spent more than 30 minutes with a Metroid game, though I recently started playing Super Metroid.
Have never played the Gameboy Advance Castlevania games (the DS games were good) but always wanted to because I've always heard they're classics.
But man, if you haven't played Symphony of the Night and you love the modern Metroidvania games then holy **** you're in for a treat. It's an all-timer that still 100% holds up. Once you're done with that, pick up Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon. It's the same game director essentially remaking SOTN twenty years later with modern sensibilities.
I haven’t played Symphony of the Night and I’ve wanted to for quite a while now. Is there a good way outside of emulation to play it? Is it in some Konami collection out there?
I also started Super Metroid on Switch to prep for Dread, but I doubt I’ll complete it before release.

Castlevania Requiem package on the Playstation includes SOTN. On Xbox there's just SOTN for $9.99.

Finally got into the new Hitman games (2 was free on PS Plus). Absolution pretty much soured me on the franchise, but they clearly made an effort to get back to their roots with 2, and I'm having a blast with the sandbox style levels. Is the first season content worth it?

Metroid isn't even out yet and I'm already feeling some anxiety (dare I say...Dread) over the amount of games I want to play. Not a bad problem to have, just hope I don't errantly not come back to something.

I’ve enjoyed all of the additional Hitman 2 and Hitman 3 content.

My favorite series to help me unwind. All three of the latest games are very good. 3 has a "meh" addition to 47's arsenal but it doesn't make the game worse. I think 2 has my favorite maps, though. It put the Maldives on my real-life map as a place to visit lol.

Created my character on New World: wait on queue to login for first time is over 1,000 people. Really thought I was picking a lower population server.

Yeah, we decided on a last minute change to Sarragalla because the Yggdrasil queue was over 8k.

Re: OT: Video Game Computers/Gadgets/Gizmos Thread
I haven't been able to get on at all yet, even on the least populated servers. Haven't seen a que less than 500. Oh well, I'll try later. I have things left to do in Valheim anyway.

Re: OT: Video Game Computers/Gadgets/Gizmos Thread
This queue is crazy. Mine is estimated 2 hours and thats one of the better ones. Some are listed at estimated 25-30 minute waits. i might switch server. "Morrow" is listed at a 91 hour wait. Eden 199 hours...

Even though I purchased it on impulse about a month ago, I started playing Valheim last week and I enjoy it a lot.
Just finished the first Boss.
