Yeah, I was kind of breezing through it and ran across that gem. In fact, there were a lot of positive guys for the Bucks there, I think one guy did say we could finish with #2 seed and i don't even think I've seen any of us say that. Still, that is pretty priceless thinking Indiana is a bigger threat than Milwaukee. Bad example, I jumped the trigger.

harkening back to "teams that scare me", with the addition of a legit pg, Indy scares the bejeezus out of me. milwaukee doesn't. maybe it's the fact that drew gooden is their PF. maybe it's the fact that jennings shot better outside the arc than from inside, or that i believe john wall is going to SMOTHER smaller guards. i dunno. I just don't think the bucks are any better than us.

Send out the trolling team?

There also seems to be some knowledgeable Wiz fans in that forum who have shouted this idiot down. I think we save the trolling team for the Raps board... Lord knows they don't have one realist in their fanbase...

You have good prospects like an Eric Gordon, Wil Chandler, Jeff Green, Gallinari.

Then you have elite prospects like a Russell Westbrook, Steph Curry, Derrick Rose, etc. Anthony Randolph falls in that elite category.

If healthy Amare is big upgrade over Lee. Amare has to be double teamed which isn't case with Lee. Amare is also better defender and presence in the paint. Felton is upgrade at PG too. Turiaf, Azubuike, Randolph, Mason add depth. Galinari and Chandler are solid. I think the Knicks will make playoffs for sure if healthy.

You obviously didn't pay attention to the DPOY voting.

They're both God awful defenders. Amare is terrible, Lee is terrible. None is "better" than the other.

I'm a GS fan and I would say Amare is the better defender.

I would also say Amare is a terrible defender.

When you're as bad as those guys being "better" than the other really means nothing. It's like having two guys with no arms in a swimming race. One might be able to swim a slightly faster lap but you still don't want either of them saving you from a shark attack.

Unless the shark was to mistake them for dolphins. I need to rethink this.

Here is one of the gems.

I am not expecting Mo to become an MVP caliber player, but what is stopping someone like Mo from becoming the next Steve Nash? Both are great shooters and mediocre to poor defenders. Mo will be playing in an uptempo offense for the first time. Mo seems to have a high enough basketball IQ, maybe he spent his summer watching film of Nash?
Trade S. Jackson soon. NJ seems like a nice place for him.

Wait until he is a Buck. It will be exactly the same story on this board. You may think I'm joking but I'm not...

And I'm not trying to take a shot at Bucks fans. Rather, Randolph is just tailor made to inspire this kind of over-the-top optimism. Remember how baseball scouts used to drool over "5 tool players" before they finally figured out maybe a guy needs to be able to actually play that game a bit? Randolph is exactly that, in basketball.

If he ever figures it out, he'll be a beast. Reminds me a lot of Andray Blatche, actually.

Inefficient guy with good peripheral stats that doesn't make an impact on team wins?

I was laughing pretty hard at that one. The best part is how serious the guy is about it.

I do agree with what some of them are saying.

We have had one good season in about ten years and we are already sold on being a 50+ win team, some posters are even going as far as saying 55+ wins. Whenever any non-Bucks poster posts something negative about the team a large number of posters from our board seem to be there to debate it.

We are becoming more like the rest of RealGM when it comes to defending our team now that we do not suck. :P

I do think it is laughable to say the Pistons are as good as the Bucks though. That team is terrible.

About 85% of the comments in that thread twirl posted are hilariously bad (and homer). Unreal.

And Bucks fans really don't start stuff from what I've seen. When people say really stupid ****, they respond to it accordingly.

And I'd say maybe (and I stress maybe) 3% of our fans think we are going to win 55. Most think around 50, which is accurate.
