I'm not so taken aback by Bilas comment. Gasser is a 6-4" guy who can defend and hit the 3. Those guys get long looks in the NBA. I think he makes a roster next year as a 12-15th man prospect.

Yeah, Gasser can be a pro in Europe. I don't see the nba for him at all.

I guess the way I see it if that stiff from UWGB can get drafted then so can Dukan.

He isn't 6-4. He also has far more of a SG game. I'll be shocked if he's not playing in Europe.

Well he's at least 6-3. But I agree he has more of a SG game. Would also be shocked if he makes an NBA roster

I can't see Gasser in the NBA but if guys like Stiensma or Dwight Buycks who got a cup of coffee in the NBA made rosters then who knows.

I think gasser is fairly ovverated.. you say he csn shoot the 3 and i know hes decent but he misses plenty as well.. he just reminds me of krabbenhoft where he plays his tail off and does a little of everything but nothing great.. i think he would have a problem guarding nba 2 or 1... not enough offense either but he could make a lot of money in europe

You guys think hayes will be a first rounder??

Kraby was a 31% 3-point shooter at UW while Gasser has shot 41% on 3-pointers in his career, over 43% for the last three seasons, and he's sitting at 47% right now. That's actually pretty great. I don't think he's an NBA player, but he'll make a good chunk of change in Greece or Italy for a long time. Krabenhoft was awful in every facet of basketball that didn't involve diving head first into things.

Hayes will be a first rounder as long as his rebound numbers look good in the future. He reminds me a lot of Jimmy Butler actually.

Butler is a true wing though. I don't think Hayes can play SF in the pros.

I agree with that but I think the skill sets are similar. Especially when it comes to finishing through contact at the rim despite not being super athletic, both guys are pretty elite at that. Hayes can probably play some spot minutes at the 3, but like I said his rebounding will have to be strong to play the 4.

Nigel Hayes reminds me of Rodney Rogers. He'll find a role in the nba.

I think Hayes finds a role in the NBA, but no way does he get taken in the first. His size is too much of an issue.

I'd bet Hayes develops a great perimeter game by the time he leaves. He'll be a first round guy,

Butler and Hayes are two completely different players = Hayes problem is he is too small to play PF in the NBA. He is not quick enough to play SF. Butler is much more quick/athletic and fits in at SF in the NBA.

Gasser is a 2G- and too short and slow to be effective in the NBA. Probably an over seas pro. Dukan may actually have as good a chance as any of these guys- as a 6'10"/6'9" stretch Forward.

Anyone see Jackson get pissed at Koenig because Koenig didn't pass to him?

Jackson was wide open on the baseline while Koenig drew a double team from Brown's man. Koenig made a nice slip pass to the wing to a wide open Brown who drained the shot. After the shot Jackson was looking mopey and I think said something to Koenig because Koenig looked back at Jackson and kind of shrugged.

Koenig made the right decision because Jackson would have pump faked the 3 and dribbled into traffic, probably turning the ball over in the process.

According to DX he measured at 6'7.5 in shoes with a 7'2 wingspan a few years back at the Lebron James skills camp. If he's grown since then, he might be able to carve himself a nice reserve role.

Went to my first game at the Kohl center in 2 years last night.

Didn't like the new pregame spectacle. Preferred the old, turn out the lights, lets hear the crowd chanting over the screaming announcer, flashing lights and puffs of smoke.

Maybe I'm an old curmudgeon, though.
