Knicks/Nets was fun
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Poole is a crazy find for warriors, watching him as a freshman and sophomore in high school I knew he would be a nice d1 player but never saw an nba player. He wasn’t even the consensus best player on that king team. It’s crazy to see his improvement after going prep(and having a huge growth spurt).

I feel like there is a pretty strong correlation between number of free throws and overall performance for him. Though in this case it could be a response to his home crowd booing him when he made his 7th turn over last game.

Draymond not shooting is comical at this point, Forces so many bad turnovers.

Trying to decide who GSW will put on Giannis. Maybe they could glue two people together in some sort of hydra?

They have one guy who will take that matchup personally.

If you're referring to Draymond that may work on occasion but not over a series.

Even with the growth of Poole the Warriors are still too reliant on Steph hitting prayers in crunch time.

Nothing against the Warriors but I stand to win a lot of money if Giannis is MVP so I enjoyed the **** out of this. Also nice watching how good the Suns are knowing we beat them for a title.

I take some comfort in knowing that the Suns would be our toughest match up in a potential NBA Finals as we've already beaten them in an NBA Finals.

I should've said that watching Ayton put an easy 24 on the Warriors bigs I feel like Giannis is going to do well.
As to the actual post here, I can't imagine there's many 12 points on 21 shots games out there for Steph. Obviously they look better again with a functioning Klay.

Giannis is a good bet for MVP. Curry right now is obviously the heavy favorite if you extrapolate the team record over the whole season, but I expect it to narrow down even further. Don't think any other team will have a good enough win% with an MVP candidate (there's just no consensus best player on the Suns). It's Giannis vs. Curry.

Very confident their w/l ratio will collapse. The Nets points differential just doesn't match their record. Now Irving can come back and improve them any day, but assuming he doesn't and assuming no major injuries I have us finishing quite a few games ahead of the Nets.

I don’t post on r/nba often, but couldn’t help myself when I saw Mavs fans defending Kidd as a coach. I didn’t argue it, just said in my opinion he’s awful and I witnessed it for years. Only to get downvoted to hell and back initially.

The ringer had a good hour on the Suns. I agree the Javal pickup was underrated and gives Ayton at least some breathing room compared to them having to play Frank if Ayton was either too aggressive defensively or worn out.
They talked about how the Suns are pretty insane in crunch time. I have zero stats to back this up and the Suns may have 'won' crunch time, but that was the greatness of Giannis to do just enough to keep the leads, whether it was the alley nope or the break away dunk. God that series was special and underrated.

I like this argument when a team blows out teams in half there games and just had bad luck in close games. But when a vet team does the opposite (while maintaining the 1 seed), I think they are just coasting. Add in we still don't know if they will add Kyrie sometime in the spring.
