This is already one of my favorite seasons as a Bucks fan and we haven't even played a game yet.

:D

I'm not used to seeing you so positive. I could get used to this.

Don't get used to it

Yeah, the games haven't started yet....lol.

In all seriousness, I will probably be a lot more positive this season. Like I said in the prediction thread, I feel like a spoiled kid on Christmas going into this season, the two things I wanted most was Bud fired and Jrue traded and I got everything I wanted. So I can't really complain, we got Dame and we've got some young players to be excited about. New coach with a fresh voice.

I predict I will be a lot less crotchety this season...lol. Although you have to admit I was right about the Bucks last season, I had them pegged as frauds in early December. But lets not talk about that.

I'll just say this. I thought one of the Buck's biggest problems last season was they became complacent. My biggest takeaway 20 games into last season was.... This Bucks team isn't nearly as good as they think they are.

My biggest takeaway when their season ended on April 26th was.... This Bucks team wasn't nearly as good as they thought they were.

Complacency was one of the Buck's biggest problems last season and Jrue Holiday was one of the main of culprits. And yes, I said that when Jrue was still a member of the Bucks. It was one of the main reasons why the #2 thing on my off season wish-list was for Jrue to be traded. He not only got traded, but we got Dame in return. That's a pretty massive win for us, obviously. Jrue will never be forgotten, he helped us win a title. But it was time for a change, for both parties.

I don't think the complacency will be a problem this season, Dame is hungry for a title and his hunger will give Giannis a new and improved hunger and the rest of the team will feed off it.

New coach, some good young players to be optimistic about.

I am hyped and have new optimism going into this season. There is a lot more to be excited about than there was a year ago.

Miami Heat: We'll have Dame by training camp.

Milwaukee Bucks: No.

Miami Heat: We'll sign Giannis in 2 years.

Milwaukee Bucks: No.

I get it if some of you are still unable or hesitant to think of Horst as a mastermind or even one of the top NBA executives. But I think all of you have to admit that none of the GMs we've had dating at least back to the 80's would have all managed to pull off anywhere near what Horst has done. Think of all the ways a starting point of Middleton and Giannis could have been botched.

I'm actually not excited at all, I thought Giannis was already signed out for about that long. Also I've never lost a minute's sleep thinking he would ever leave because I'm not a weirdo panic merchant like you locals.

I really just wanted to type HORTS.

What an incredible blessing Giannis has been for the Bucks and this board. Excited to be able to witness the entirety of his trajectory thus far. Good times friends!

I've watched this clip a couple times. He's just an amazing human being. There will never be another.

Generally like Bobby Marks. But he's really going hard at things in this clip. And the ironic thing is that of all the NBA media personalities, Bobby is the least obnoxious. It's all his colleagues and peers that are the problem.

Dame brought up how he planned to play until 38 and didn’t expect to slow down beforehand.

Makes sense he expects Giannis to be on board that same trajectory.

Giannis demanding a trade next offseason would have left Lillard without much leverage to choose his next destination otherwise.

And many of the Bucks faithful will eat it up and begin to fret (see every single time Giannis has been due an extension). What a way to go through life as a sports fan.

Spends the last minute of his rant on how the contract means nothing. I usually enjoy Bobby on podcasts but that was embarrassingly thin skinned on his part. He reads his comments so make sure to put him on permanent blast Bucks Twitter
