Re: PG Blazers - Win
I just don't think we can start a guy who isn't a plus defender between Dame and Midds. That's probably my only knock on Beasley starting. Otherwise he's totally fine and has a role on the team.

I'm fine with that, and there will certainly be times he can't be on the court even then, but yeah he's been fine for the most part.

Honestly we should be trying to get Beasley more shots. He is our best shooter

some of ya'll hate just to hate
Funny acting like 11 ppg in a starting, big minutes role is some sort of accomplishment, while ignoring the player is a terrible defender who can't handle the ball or pass.
surprised you didn't also pretend 70%ts isn't good somehow
47% from 3 btw and you want him "cut"
admit u just hate the guy for some reason
He doesn't have a 70TS%. You must be thinking of AJJ. He does.

People I think are losing sight of this when evaluating the coach. Jim Boylan, Larry Drew, Larry Krystkowiak would all have this team at 12-5 right now.

Beasley is at 67.2% on a much larger sample size, still pretty darn good. He’s definitely a player other teams fear defensively more than AJ Jr.

I dislike players with bad attitudes who can't defend or pass. That's Beasley all day. The team almost lost today because Beasley thought it was important for a grown man to have a birthday party, at a club.
Sucks Giannis has to carry clowns like him.
Damn you've never gotten drunk the night of your birthday and showed up to work the next morning? lol
I did an 8 day bender in thailand just for the hell of it on my bday this year.
It makes more sense how crappy they played thinking they could just show up hung over and beat the blazers.

This thread lol.
We are becoming a deadly closing team. No team will feel safe against us.

We have the 2023 era version of Shaq and Kobe on this roster. Those two were never out of any game.

Lots of love for Giannis and Dame but they’ve got a lot to prove before comparing them to Kobe and Shaq.

Teams don’t fear either of them. Beas TS is high because he’s always open and started to take mainly corner threes (credit to him or whichever player told him to do that).
Dre is a guy teams should fear because he almost always makes the right play is already an elite passer with amazing vision.

AJJ has played a total of 100 career minutes, many in garbage time. No one is fearing him. That day may come and he looks like he has potential but let's not get ahead of ourselves
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

You don’t miss the shots you don’t take. After 3 scoreless starts, it might be awhile before he gets a 4th.

If Khris isn't back Tuesday, AJJ will start again.

There's been almost no garbage time minutes this year. Robin Lopez has 3 minutes played.

i'm not sure why Andre is getting the start and then only playing 12 minutes. Would love to hear an answer.

Re: PG Blazers - Win
Watching at the Fiserv today: Giannis was the guy who played very well over the whole game, in offense most of the game. He focused on defense in the 4 th quarter because almost everyone else was unable to defend the perimeter causing the Blazers to almost score at will till then. Although Giannis was no Jrue in terms of perimeter defense ability, he tried very hard in the 4 th quarter and sure enough, the Blazers suddenly kept missing shots. As a result, he of course ended up with almost 6 fouls.
I realized that AG had no choice but to play Giannis as perimeter defender to have any hope of containing the offense in order to have a chance to win the game.
At the end of the 4 th quarter, it was Dame time and without his impeccable and clutch free throw shooting, we would have certainly lost, no matter how well Giannis had played till then. We obviously cannot rely on Giannis hitting free throws at crunch time.
Our offense otherwise did not play that well overall while their offense had a huge 3 point percentage, for quite a while at 60 percent and reaching a peak of 63 percent in the game. Our defense, it was so visibly, unable to stop anyone at the perimeter, then their offense broke through, our whole team tried to stop them, and they still scored inside or passed to others outside for repeated successful 3 point shots which as i said reached a 63 percent peak.
We have had wins with many coming off of comebacks near the end of game time. Very commendable for the Bucks; I hope this pattern is sustainable but I am not so sure. One way or the other we have to find a way for our defense to significantly improve.
Beas was good on offense. Ajj was not impressive. Mjb was ok but nothing particularly impressive. Pat C at the later part of the game, played much better defense. Portis hit 2 successive 3 s at a v crucial time.
Essentially it was the individual talents of Giannis and Dame that got us a win; reliance on only this could become troublesome in the future.

One possible reason: our defense continued to be weak even when ajj was playing and ag needed our offense to score more to compensate & ajj not only scored 0 points but also didn’t even attempt to make a single scoring attempt. And this was not a sustainable strategy for the team.

If he does, I hope he’s more aggressive. 4v5 offensive threats leads to hole-digging.
