Defenders? They had one of the worst defenses in the league this year...

Go even further, we should limit our stars during the season like LAC and Miami do!

Not giving Dame and Mids away. That said, everyone but Giannis can go.

100..

They can't be on the same roster. They are like the same dude mentally. Except 1 is smaller and faster. Dame is shaky on defense but KM is a disaster and just gives up. You can't have 2 wings like that starting together and to Boot, we had 3 for most of the year. Dame/Beas/KM starting together ... wow

Dame is a fake star. I don't honestly see how people want him back next year. What an absolute disaster of a trade that was. Dame was a net negative. His offense and chemistry with Giannis was supposed to eclipse the other side of the ball and it never did.

Chucking and making the occassional deep 3's and baiting fouls didn't foster the chemistry needed to win.

Gianni’s has become Neymar. Many will have no idea who that is but he was once a top 3-5 player for Barcelona/psg/brazil, but he’s always injured. Eventually you just expect every season for him to be injured.

That’s Giannis now. We can all assume he’ll be injured at some point next year

Clips didn't limit Kawhi at all this year lol. He played nearly every game until the most recent knee flare except for a 5 game stretch in December due to a hip contusion.

I don't have proof of this and just judging by the eye test but it seemed to me Giannis was able to handle games he played bigger minutes in this season compared to the past because he was playing more minutes on average. I didn't see the usual huffing and puffing from him and would've love to have seen if this resulted into a better playoffs for him.

We cannot control someone getting injured in the playoffs. It is totally wrong to overplay veteran stars during the regular season so that they are injured from early in the first round of the playoffs. That is totally on the coach.

We need someone like him to give us the ability to play big, but as soon as he signed that contract, we needed/need to move off him.

Offensively, KM shined in that role of being Joe Johnson and just like taking over but is that really the offense we think will win us another chip? That's the other part.. we need a more dynamic offense where some guys can play off ball and still stay mentally engaged. If Dame or KM don't touch the ball for awhile the start just jogging around.

Because the Bucks are old/slow and only have two ball handers who can drive and one of them missed the entire series.

you may go to far because there is an intangible effect hes capable of in those big moments but in general youre right. its hard in retrospect to disagree for any of us.

we had flexibility and now reflecting..... we could have targeted anything and anybody with the package

jrue had crazy value league wide with the highest net rating on the team(he was our glue gun)
grayson contract had more value than anybody else on the team besides giannis, jrue, and khris
a pick is a pick and we gave up a valuable one down the road with giannis getting older
and pick swaps are worth at least a couple 2nds and we gave up two considering the same timeline with giannis my god

it was a ton of asset value for a guy that didnt make us appreciably better than wed been. if we were gonna blow all that **** we had to get better. i dont think we did even tho dame vs jrue in a vacuum may have been marginally better if they both had the same health outlook

Everyone likes that he can play big.. the part they don't like is teams use his slow feet against us on D. He keeps us stuck in that drop D that is nice for awhile then burns us

Return to Milwaukee Bucks
