We were fortunate enough that we made some pretty important threes but yeah it was a total mess with just Giannis out there. As I said in the GT we gotta find one more ball handler/shot creator from somewhere because you need at least 4 guys on the floor now that can create against these top defences.

Yes. So many possessions where Dame/Giannis are clearly exhausted, we spend 15 seconds dribbling in place, have a near turnover after a panic pass and throw up a terrible shot (with no one in place for an offensive rebound) Just absolutely wasting possessions. We’re not going to get away with that garbage against Boston.

What’s frustrating is that when we’re purposeful about getting into our actions quickly we normally get good shots. But if the defense only has to defend for 8 seconds instead of 20, and you do that 5-10 times a game more than what is necessary, you’re going to drown in bad math over time.

OKC has a better defense than Boston by quite a large margin

Not against us. Boston has Horford. That’s the difference. Giannis cannot bully him, which means he goes from unstoppable force to merely very good.

But I would say OKC is best equipped to slow down Boston’s offense. They just won’t be able to score enough to keep up.

They should make the championship game count as a regular season game, too.

Either the entire tourney should be out of season or completely within.

He'll get another opportunity. We're playing well now, no need to muck things up. But there will be guys being rested and some (hopefully short term) injuries. There are still 57 games to play.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

The reason it was brought up because we have seen it a lot the last couple of years. Can't have that when your playing for the real cup. Again congrats Bucks.

Weird game to watch. Was kinda like a preseason in Abu Dhabi or something. Crowd was interested to watch but not rabid fans either.

My sources in LV said that Khash is in deep for 19k at Spearmint Rhino. JK, he is not feeling well tonight.

Enjoy a 16 point win against a very good team.

And not like it’s bad math to run down the clock in a defensive game. When you are up by 16+, you are only going to lose if you turn it over or give open shots when clanking long 3s ten seconds into the shot clock. A team has to go 6-7 from 3 in the final four minutes to lose the game assuming you don’t make one bucket but run 35 seconds off the clock between 24 on offense 11 on defensive considering your defense is set.

Giannis needs not to let Hortford get in his head to the point of taking a three for he lead. Last game vs Boston they played well as a team but the last 5 minutes they went away from that.

Fun math fact: If NBA cup money was awarded in proportion with each player’s salary, Giannis would take home about 2.1 million in prize money and AJax about 80K.

I think we need to do a better job of running actions that get Giannis on the move against Horford or even get Horford off Giannis completely. Would be nice to see a little creativity!
