I'm sure they'd tell you they aren't playing their best game...but this is also just the variance of two good 3P shooting teams that rely on it, one shooting like dick, the other one hitting every shot they take.

This would easily be the worst loss of the season.

Niederhauser completely wrecked the Badgers in this one.

Supremely horrible showing. I don't really care what the other team did; I care what we didn't do, which has been happening too often the past two weeks.

Laughably bad loss.

The offense has looked really bad the last two weeks and the defense isn’t much better.

Just a brutal loss for Wisconsin. Couple thoughts

-You aren't going to win many games when your opponent shoots 57% from 3
-This team really misses Max Klesmit
-John Tonje has been bad lately

Can probably kiss Milwaukee goodbye after this one

In a vacuum, Wisconsin losing to a Penn St team who shot 57% from 3 isn't that bad of a loss. But given the recent trend these last few weeks it's very concerning.

Early in the year, I missed most of the games but obviously was excited about Tonje from what I had heard leading up to the season.

Honestly going into December/January I was kind of pessimistic because the guy is great but the eye test was like, "how does this guy get shots off? He's slow and doesn't have a ton of bounce."

He went on a run in February that made me shut up - but I think I'm back to this point.

Both Tonje and Blackwell are below the rim players. It seems they’ve been stuffed at the rim a ton lately. Crowl and Winter are still not effective against legit bigs, which leads to……

….If the three isn’t falling this team does not have another way to win.

So different than the Bo days.

You could pretty much always count on the defense (except the 2 years they made the final 4 ironically).

Now the defense is average at best and you're counting on the offense.

They gave up 51 points in the 2nd half to Ped St at home.

Yikes.

Fair overall, but the dude they brought in who can play was absolutely terrible today, had his own chances to pull them out of it, and didn't.

I don’t want to hear anything about their “bad luck draw” in the tourney.

With like 5:00 left versus Oregon, they had a 2 seed in milwaukee wrapped up. They then turned it over 27 straight times to lose that game and laid an egg on senior night against a terrible team.

4 (or 5, please god no) seeds get tough draws every single year. That’s why you win games in the regular season.
Please reconsider your animal consumption.

Gophers fired their coach in the middle of the night. Kind of bummed because they made a mini run in the middle of the season and it looked like they might give him 1 more season. But after going into the toilet the rest of the way and finishing under .500, they had no choice.
