I am curious who you guys would rather see lose in a Boston vs Indiana ECF.
I could almost never root for Boston, but it would be satisfying to see the Pacers get humbled and sent home.

So do we fire Atkinson after this series?

I wouldn’t root for Boston but them winning would be the status quo, I want to keep Indy down low

Will never root for a Boston win.

The Pacers are annoying. I could see them making it to them making it to the Finals, though. I was going to say there's not a team remaining in the West that they can beat but I still can't believe they beat us.

Coaching doesn’t matter as much as ppl think imo. I mean Denver fired Malone like a week before the playoffs and haven’t missed a beat. Memphis still sucked the way they were previously sucking after Jenkins left. And the Cavs don’t really look that much better than they did last year.
Oh and the Bucks are still first round fodder.
Coaching matters at the margins but talent in the playing ranks is so much more important.

The Bucks were obviously worse without Giannis, but still had a winning record without him.
We don't have a number 2 or 3, but we have plenty of solid role players.

They're just such an unlikeable bunch of dudes, man. But they're a good team.

If the Bucks swapped coaches with the Pacers, who wins the series? I honestly don't know.

The Pacers.
You're burying your head in the sand about the inexplicable lineups. If players win games, then coaches lose them for not playing the guys who win games. The preferred lineup was +6 per 100. The alternatives were around -20.
Our coach made Giannis a -7, when we had several guys w/ positive net ratings in the series. So what could they & our best player have had if they were together? We don't know if the Pacers would have compelled a choke anyway, but you don't know the reverse either.

Wallace was really good in his place, kept them in it for a stretch with huge 3’s

Agree, the lineup choices were poor from Doc and he of course adjusted when it was too late.
We lost Dame which hurt badly and played some dog **** lineups. But if we had a coach who optimised that stuff do we win the series? I don’t think we do. After you account for Giannis being the best player, they probably had the next 5-6 best guys in the series.

A lot of people were still skeptical of this Cavs team. What Indiana are doing is still highly impressive though. Didn't see this coming.

They’re a really good team. I think it’s obvious they have a better roster overall.
