They established within the 1st couple episodes of the series that they weren't concerned with travel times or showing the day to day minutia that would make viewers bored. I don't get why people are only now up in arms of Euron, a guy known to be maybe the most accomplished sailer in the entire world.Spoiler:Agreed, especially the last sentence. Euron is the king of the sea. It's also possible that Dany's two fleets didn't leave at the same time. It's not that far fetched to me that he was already near the Greyjoy/Dorne fleet and quickly ambushed them, King's Landing is not far from there and he was probably there less than a day. Then he books it to Casterly Rock. Even if the Unsullied fleet got a head start on him, we're talking about maybe one of the worst fleets vs the absolute best. How do we know when the unsullied left Dragonstone?Spoiler:How do we know this though, aside from being told? The only evidence in the show we have to go on is some deific ability to sail be at one end of the continent one day, and then catch up to a fleet that left earlier than he did minutes after they reach their target. The writers have not done enough with the Euron character to this point to justify his teleportation-like speed that has been shown in the most recent episode.
How do you know exactly when certain fleets left? Are we just assuming Dany's split crew left at the same time?
