If we keep Donte, he better be ready to play 30 minutes a game.
If we don't keep Donte, the most-recently drafted player who will be expected to contribute much in 2020-2021 will be Giannis; that is amazing to me, for a team which is pretty good.

We need to build a roster good enough to win and keep Giannis. Without Bogdonovic, it's hard to see.

3p% took a nose dive this past season but that was due to bad numbers on pullups. Still over 50% on catch and shoot 3s where he has always been great.

Wait though... Was he the guy who just couldnt hit an open 3 against us in the playoffs?

Simple truth is that a lot of mis management and bad personnel decisions have left this organization painted into an awful corner where they have almost no assets to trade and no young talent to develop. They are really in as bad a situation as you can be in.

It's a significant loss similar to Hill.

Other contenders become stronger with good and/or cheap deals.

Certainly he contributed significantly in some games, but overall he was a guy struggling to be relevant. And he'll be older. The problem will arise if we don't keep Donte (and give him more minutes) and don't sign another rotational player.

The concern over not having a good roster from some of you is nuts to me. A Jrue, DDV, Midd, Giannis, Brook is better than a Bledsoe, Wes, Middleton, Giannis, Brook starting five.

And that starting 5 set the tone to a 70 win pace for most of last season. Let's see how we fill this thing out from here...come down from the ledge for a bit.

Yeah I hate being a doomer but I'm not seeing it. I don't think Jrue/DDV/Mids/Giannis/Lopez is an ECF-winning starting 5 and I'm not seeing where the bench depth comes from.
