Is Smart available, do we even have any assets they'd want? Would love to have him but i would imagine we'd get bid out pretty easily.

Can't see Smart as a target. He's an even worse shooter than Schroder, which is saying something.

Smart is a horrific shooter. I mean really bad. He can't drive and he can't shoot. I love his defense, but not enough.

Bill Simmons has been trying to get Smart dealt for a star for weeks now. Some of those pods have been hilarious.

The Blazers liquidated a lot of value to get under the luxury tax.

They sent out $28.5 million in salary while taking back $24.6 million.

The Celtics don't need to drop quite that much but only a few million less.

It'd be better if it'd only cost us Nwora and change to get Schroder! However a third team like OKC might insist on more significant value to make it worth their while.

Still think a guard who can create for himself would be a huge asset for us so I get our intrigue with Schroder.

Not sure he's good enough at it to pursue too aggressively, though. Was bummed that Nowell had gotten back in the rotation in Minnesota, but looks like he might be the odd man out again. That would be a better option, imo.

Spurs have Murray, White, Vassell, Walker, Primo. Wonder if there's a path to any of those guys (White or Walker most likely).

Derrick White is the odd man out. They love the other 4. But we don’t want Derrick White.

Some bad memories. I remember some spirited debates on the old ESPN boards. Anyone of the old ESPN board peeps remember how ridiculous the trolling was? It was the **** wild west those days. The Boston fans we insufferable. I posted under the Dankking name back then.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

Seems hard to believe that was 19 years ago. Remember that night like it was yesterday. Remember how after this deal went down there was a rumor we were trying to swap Cassell for Sprewell of the Knicks.

He's an awful fit. Was **** useless at getting the ball to AD at the Lakers.

For all the people that alluded to guys like Boogie and PJ not being "culture" fits, you better keep that same energy for Dennis Schroeder. Because he's the actual "Anthony Mason" type hand grenade that you toss into the locker room and pray that the talent/fit outweighs the attitude.

If the Bucks are able to move Semi, I can see it happening with the Jazz. Ainge is in charge there now, he loved Semi, and the Jazz are looking for a big wing defender. That's what Semi is in theory, and all they have to do is take the contract off our hands, or we can take one of their young guys into out TPE, which would allow us to bunch the Semi outgoing salary in a 3 team deal for a bigger fish.
