We’ll get Mo Bamba in 5-6 years, he’s still too young for us.

Bucks are paying 15/1 to win the title next year (8th best odds).

Seems like a pretty juicy opportunity.

Yeah, that slander-your-ex cycle is in full swing, now. But I also believe it, too. Klay always came off to me as a total **** prick, which was tolerable when he was a top 25 NBA player but notsomuch when he was a shell of himself post-injury.

Say what you want about the Bucks, but our best players have always come off as good dudes that you'd want to play with.

$207M from those five. The second apron is $190M, lol. I am not a cap guy/understande-r, but this is just wiiiiiiiiiiild ****.

This makes their bench extremely dependent on vet min signings and draft and develop guys which could come back to bite them if any of their starters are injured for the playoffs.

If I recall, they also will need to extend Sam Hauser after this season and find a replacement for Horford.

There are so many free agents that haven't signed yet. Are we now on hold for the Ingram trade?

Owner is selling majority stake. No wonder.

Glad Mitchell signed back in Cleveland. Another shot across the bow at the idiot talking heads at ESPN

12-1 at my book. Was 8-1 and 9-1 recently. I will put a few bucks on the Bucks.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

True but we are in the same position but much worse. We are relying on Giannis, Dame, Midds and brolo to stay healthy which is crazy considering the combination of age, style of play and injury history.

The Celtics will try to re-sign/extend Hauser next week. If they do reach an agreement, that will add to the bill. You're right, they will be dependent on vet mins and development of young replacement guys. They did weather the loss of any single player extremely well last season.

Their taxes will be obscene and that's probably what led to the team being sold. Wyc Grousbeck isn't the richest owner in this new era that's demanding megawealth. But they're set up to not be hurt by the other second apron restrictions as badly as other teams, as they have a set and signed roster.

Horford will definitely play next year and has said he'd love to play into his 40s. They'll have to baby him for minutes with no back to backs, so the Celtics center rotation until Porzingis returns in like January will be something to watch.

There will be several no-Horford games. Right now they have Kornet and Queta with one more big to be signed; perhaps it will be the return of Tillman.

I'm a believer in the future of Neemias Queta. With just a bit of seasoning he could become a real contributor, perhaps even being the guy that spells Horford. In the meanwhile, Kornet's a serviceable regular season center.

Eh, the ESPN dudes are on cloud nine right now. Boston just won their hospital chip, Knicks are relevant again and just made a big star trade, PG lands in big market Philly, Klay forms a "big 3" with Luka and Kyrie in Dallas, all while they get to **** on small market Milwaukee and Denver all offseason now that all these other teams have supposedly passed them in the contender pecking order.

8th best championship odds for a team with Dame/Giannis is hilarious though. Obviously gotta pray for good health, but I can't wait for these guys to dismantle all these moronic narratives being built up right now. It's like people never learn with this cycle of offseason hype.

Zach Lowe is the only guy who works for ESPN worth reading or listening to, and even he is not as good as he was 8 years back. It really is remarkable how with all their resources and all the money they have invested in NBA broadcasts, that ESPN has such a stable of hacks.

"Sixers star Joel Embiid was pushing for a return to Philadelphia for Nicolas Batum, who also drew interest from the Bucks, among other teams, reports Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints. However, Batum – who played for the Clippers from 2020-23 – still has family in Los Angeles and considers it home, per Azarly. Azarly adds that the forward’s relationships with head coach Tyronn Lue and some front office members also factored into his decision to return to L.A. on a two-year deal."

Sounds like Horst tried to lure Batum to Milwaukee. He would've been a solid option to start.

Batum was annoyingly very good in Philly. He would have been such a big upgrade to anything we have there.

Seems kind of high tbh. Need everyone to be healthy and even then I'd say were even with Boston and 76ers are better full health vs full health.

I think it's only a matter of time before Cleveland makes a play for Ingram. Something around Jarret Allen and Caris LeVert makes too much sense for them.
