I don’t see the Kings doing this. They give up the two best players.

But this would be a helpful deal for Milwaukee. DeRozan can provide scoring when Giannis is out and Ellis is an athletic wildcard who can defend wings like a mofo when he’s motivated.

Yeah Ellis is much more valuable than a toss in. But because they are the Kings i do feel like we can get him for less than market as long as we can figure out what they want.

Giannis, Myles, Bobby, KPJ, GTJ, AJ Green, Kuzma, Prince, Harris, Jackson Jr, Smith, Sims

That’s 12 guys all under contract for next year right? So we have 3 open roster spots? Is that right, am I missing anyone or adding anyone that isn’t under contract?

Thanasis and Rollins should own 2 of those spots, I don’t think there should be any question about that. With or without a Chris Paul, Brogdon or Melton signing, that really should have zero effect on whether we’re retaining Rollins. We’re still thin at the position and he’s a solid young player worth keeping around to continue developing.

Horst needs that 1 last savvy move to push the needle and let’s go win the conference and shut everyone TF up!

Any chance the Brook signing could be a sign and trade? Wouldn’t mind trying to get Bogdonovic back in a deal there

Middleton getting bought out and coming back would fit really nicely the more I think about it.

PG KPJ, Rollins
SG GTJ, AJG
SF Midds, Prince
PF Giannis, Portis
C Turner, Sims

I’d be looking for a long term replacement obviously but man, on a vet min that solves a lot of problems

Milwaukee gave him a 2nd chance after being waived and all of his shop-lifting drama, so maybe he gives Milwaukee the upper hand in these negotiations and is willing to show some patience with them. I'll be pretty bummed if they go another/older direction and not bring Rollins back.

Also possible we have a deal in place and they are just waiting for some things to unfold before it gets done
My thinking, as well. We all know how this goes. Signings, etc., need to be done in a certain order to insure it is legal.

That sucks. He's a great assistant. Smart. He's been relegated to the back row here and I imagine he'd like to have a more prominent role.

Derrick Jones Jr. would be cool, too. I’d give him all the Kuzma minutes to play some D and rim run like the athletic freak he is. 52/35/70 shooting last year, I’d take that over Kuzmas 45/33/53 as a Buck.

What kind of contract does our rookie this year get since he is a 2nd round pick he wants to stay here and play so see how he is in summer league and training camp.

KPJ I can the run the offense and be the primary handler when Giannis out. We're basically relying on him becoming a borderline star anyway. Why take the ball out of his hands?

Wasn't he the one who spoke up and suggested the KPJ-Green-GTJ-Giannis- Portis lineup in game 5?

Several of us were saying this a lot earlier but losing that rational voice will hurt.

We should get a draft pick for Prunty. Either way he will be back. He always does

Great question and I honestly have no idea how Bogo or even Sears fits into the equation. A 2 way for Sears if he lights up SL makes some sense but Bogo might end up a stash just by default. I’d rather have him here but that seems up in the air right now. Unless of course we aren’t going to sign Thanasis and/or Rollins or we’re making a trade to open up a last roster spot for him.

Idk. We’re close but still not there. Too many moving parts and questions need answered.

We're for sure going to turn to Ham if/when Doc gets fired. We can't get out of the bad coach cycle. How would we know what this roster can truly do without the skipper sabotaging them? Then that enables media and fans to say the squad isn't good enough, as they wish.

I mean even from bad coach to bad coach we went 32-14 to 15-19 season before last. Then our alternative lineup was +6 in the playoffs, while our main one(s) were -20's. That'll change the outcome/narrative.

Last year, the Hawks 2nd round pick, Nikola Djurisic, also from Mega, was injured in Summer League. When he got healthy midseason, he played with the Hawks G League team without signing with the Hawks.

I wonder if that could be an option with Bogo?

If Bogo is unsigned and playing in the GL, aren’t we at risk of losing him to another franchise?
