Indy needed to get younger and more athletic

Meh, Wiseman is no prize to be won. He’s still young enough to potentially make an impact at some point but he’s still insanely far from there. Don’t lose any sleep over it.

Even before they signed Wiseman, it felt like Indiana is positioned to trade one of their bigs. Feels even more likely now.

Jalen Smith signed with the Bulls. Wiseman is the young big replacement.

They have like 5 or 6 of them now.

Everyone gave Ainge his flowers in 2022 for "fleecing" two teams in the Gobert and Mitchell trades, but this is why you kinda have to let these things play out. Utah looking pretty damn treadmill-y while the Wolves and Cavs don't look like they'll be forking over any Top-10 picks any time soon. Meanwhile, he'll either have to trade or fork over $200 million next offseason to the only good, tangible asset he got out of those deals (Markannen) because he's already a little too old to properly build around if/when they go the complete teardown route. Danny Ainge, great draft pick/theoretical asset collector. Mediocre GM.

Isaac's contract will either look insanely overpriced or woefully underpriced. I can't call it.

He’s a really bad drafter. Pardon my memory, but the Celtics under his regime squandered so many picks before and after the tatum and brown picks

He’s,like Brook. A very impactful 20mpg game guy who can give the other team fits but at the same time is not a 35mpg guy.

I think his drafts in 2008, 2012, 2013 were pretty rough... 2016 outside of Jalen Brown at 3, they had 7 other picks and none of them really did anything ..

Think he's more than that, he could give you 30 of switchable defense and play finishing - but is just as likely to take off next year for a mission trip or retire in 2 years to co-host a show on Fox News... or get broken by injuries again.

This is more money than I get paid, and I am quite good at my job. A couple of key factors are probably that I don’t play in the NBA and, due to that, have not won an NBA championship. That aside, may have a word to my boss and see if we can do anything here.

Kyle Anderson might be better for GSW than Klay and at half the cost and none of the baggage. 3/27 was a bargain deal.
