Yeah, Stone looked terrible. His body language is what concerned me the most though. He better pull his head out, or he could waste all that talent. Emphasis on could--lots of time.

Having said that, I still wish he was a Badger.

I saw one of his games last year and noticed that he lacked a little enthusiasm. On offense he moved well enough, but on def. he took his time getting up and down the floor.

Surprised to see UW as (very slight) favorites against Georgetown. I know they're 0-2, but I worry about this one slipping away early and the Badgers not having firepower to make a comeback. The Badgers may get abused in the paint.

Bookmark this for the lulz later: the top 4 streak is done. About 50/50 on calling the tournament streak over. You cannot win with this few shooters in Bo's current system given that they are not an elite defense. They need Pritzl to be healthy and good very soon.

The Badgers are shooting even worse than MCW in that game against Brooklyn last year.

I see nbadraft.net has Hayes mid 2nd round next year, if he stays they should be a pretty solid team if Happ continues to develop.

What the hell is up with Koenig today? We are DOA in these games against tough opponents if he is going to play like this.

Finally cut the lead to 7 and Vitto instantly commits a trash foul to give them an easy two points.

Koenig took some shots tonight that even JR Smith would find questionable, not sure what was up with him.

Yeah, they're pretty bad right now. Tomorrow is going to be ugly regardless of opponent.

At least I'll likely win another $200 betting against them.

The thing is you can see flashes of good basketball by people other than Hayes/Koenig. I think once those two start trusting the other guys the team will gel. I can see them struggling early in conference play and then finishing strong. They may not make the tourney but I'm guessing they'll be on the bubble.

I think 50/50 on them making the tournament is to high. If Bo gets this team to the tournament, it might be his best coaching job at Wisconsin.

The Big Ten looks like it will be very strong and i have a hard time seeing the Badgers being able to win pretty much any game vs a good team if Hayes or Koenig have an off night at all shooting/scoring and that doesn't take into account the lack of interior defense once they play teams with quality size.

It's weird watching a Bo Ryan team without a 6'10 to 7' white center who can shoot from the perimeter and play at least solid defense. Bo has always had one or more of them.

There are no athletes (other than iverson) or shooters on this team. The recruiting has been abysmal up until last year.

So recruiting has been "abysmal" yet they went to a Final Four and a Championship game in the last two years. Dekker left early and Uthoff transferred. I'd say they had one bad recruiting year

Every team has their good players leave early and transfers. That college basketball. It takes more than one bad class to result in zak showalter and vitto brown getting 30+ minutes

Two F4 appearances should return better recruits than we got.
