I hope those poor folks didn't pay to watch that. It looks like the and1 mix tape tour in slow motion.

And the reason is?

Do you refer to my poor english? I am not a native speaker. Sorry for that.

Or do you disagree with my opinion that Giannis could develop in a short NT Summer?

I really think that this short stint with the NT would not take anything away from the Bucks and benefit Giannis
and his development.

What ever. Everybody has his own opinion. Most of the Greeks would accept if Giannis would sit out this summer and so do I.
Nevertheless Giannis has a strong wish to join the NT and the Bucks should accept this.
Especially when the signs show that the stint will be only for a short period of time.

Since nobody's chimed in: Turbostef, your English is strong. Glad to have you and other Greeks here posting and translating articles and interviews with Giannis.

Thank you :)

I was not fishing for compliments. I was just wondering which part of my post lead to this repost.

I am really curious to find out if the Bucks will let Giannis play with the NT.

Obviously Giannis has a "bodyguard" following him all over the world

Porzingis scored 21 points but was overshadowed by team member Thanasis Antetokounmpo, Giannis' older brother, who scored 69. The two had played for a few games together last season, when Thanasis was signed by the Knicks on a 10-day contract. Giannis Antetokounmpo led the other team with 64 points. The other players were a mixture of veteran pros and amateurs.

Really like bucks team tho, one of my top 3 teams, mayby even number one.

Come on man, be a Bucks fan. Low expectations for 20 years. You can never be let down. We never experience the heartbreak that Thunder fans are going through because we never get that far.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

He's trash. It's gonna be fun to see Giannis play this summer without this zero defense chucker. Was flat out embarrassing to see him single handedly cost Greece against Spain last summer while Giannis was in beast mode.

Spanoulis played in NBA long time ago when he was young.. NBA is not for everyone.. he could play on that level (probably as a bench player) but he decided back then to go back in europe and play more minutes.. he will retire soon anyway.. maybe in 1-2 years.. not worth to come now in NBA..

Actually, Spanoulis recently said that he is planning on playing until at least age 37. He's 33 now, so he plans on playing at least another 4 years. He even kind of mocked Greek journalists because they keep writing that he is retiring in a year or two, and because they keep saying he is old.

He said there is no truth in what they write, he has no plans to retire soon, or in the next two years, and that he is physically the same as he always was. He said the journalists just like to write their own stories on stuff like that, but he's not retiring anytime soon, despite that they keep writing that he will be, because they are Panathinaikos fans or whatever.

And Prigioni came to the NBA at age 35, and he was never even close to as good as Spanoulis is. Prigioni, at his peak, was not near Spanoulis' current level. He came to the NBA, well past his prime, let alone his peak, and had no trouble contributing in the NBA, despite being 35 years old, and much slower than Spanoulis is.

Spanoulis? Dude couldn't cut it in the NBA a decade ago when his legs were fresh. He'd make Vasquez look like an all-world defender at this point.

Seriously. It was honestly embarrassing watching him vs Spain last summer, would be painful trying to watch his wannabe Euro T-Mac shtick on the Bucks. Wouldn't sniff playing time here.

Spanoulis has much fresher, quicker, and more explosive legs than guys like 37-40 year old Andre Miller, 37-40 year old Jason Kidd, Pablo Prigioni, Jose Calderon, and Marcelo Huertas have. Spanoulis could run circles around someone like Jose Calderon.

All of the above players were NBA rotation players, even the 40 year old guys like Miller and Kidd, who at that age were about half as quick as Spanoulis is right now, and that's being extremely generous to the old versions of Miller and Kidd.

There is nothing at all about Spanoulis' legs that would prevent him from playing in the NBA. 40 year old guys that could barely jog up and down the court have been rotation point guards in the NBA in recent years (Kidd and Miller).
