Honestly I'm not a big fan of their moves. Schroder is not better than playoff Rondo, Matthews is not better even from playoff Green, Harrell is a liability in the playoffs and Marc is already done. Lebron a year older, AD less hungry now. I don't see them coming from the West.

I think the Clips will figure it out. They did upgrade replacing Shamet/Harrell with Kennard/Ibaka and George can only be better too. I think they will match up again with Denver in the WCF. Nuggets will spend the RS developing MPJ, they will have Murray/Jokic combo even more confident and Harris/Barton will be at least healthier. They lost Grant but still a lot of depth in that team.

Matthews is def better than Green was these last playoffs, where he was playing through an injury and looked washed from all the long playoff series he's been involved in the last half decade.

Harrell had a tough playoffs but I expect him to bounce back. You may be right about Gasol, the guy looked cooked in the bubble.

Schroeder may be a different type of player than Rondo, but if he can keep his shooting at a level that's close to what it was last year, he is better than 34 year old Rondo.

Overall it depends on how Lebron and Davis play. Like you said, if either of them have a worse season than last year due to age (Lebron) and not being as hungry (AD), they will be a worse team.

Personally, I think they got slightly better but I could see them lose to the Clippers in the WCF.

Honestly like that Brook is our only true 5. The center position isn't what it used to be and not a true necessity with some lineups especially with a guy like Giannis on the floor

Anyone know what's up with all the cryptic tweets from the Bucks?

It’s got to be for their stupid city jerseys. Nobody cares right now shouldn’t be sending out cryptic tweets when everybody is just waiting for Giannis’s decision.

There's one more spot open. Horst could pick up another C, I'm not sure who is still available but Dialo has so much untapped potential.

Ron Swanson wrote:While the moves we've made this offseason put a lot of pressure on the front office, it also puts a lot of pressure on Giannis. Was pretty clear that they went in looking to both A) Upgrade Bledsoe's position, and B) add shooters, and they pretty much accomplished both. If we get a 3rd straight postseason where the "wall" defense neutralizes Giannis, then I can't blame the roster construction here.
It's partially true, but then Bud would be a big recipient of the blame.

Tired of the D'antoni style five out crap with Gianni 25 feet away from the rim.

Basically Gianni and Bud need to evolve.

We are hard capped. Can't sign anyone. We are probably the only NBA Team in the last 40 years that starts the Season with a 14 player roster cause of hard cap.

I think he’ll go insane and want to punch the media if he goes all year having to say every night “ at the end of the day I’m just focused on this season and my teammates and not worried about next year“

Meanwhile us fans will spend the entire season on pins and needles. I honestly don’t know what is really going to change that much between this off-season and next. If he doesn’t know now, then he just doesn’t know and wont ever know. One season is not gonna make a difference in his decision. He knows he likes the city, I’m sure he likes Coach bud and his teammates, but he’s seen the deficiencies in the front office and that Bud has in the playoffs. He also has to see that it’s really on him if we win or not. He has a couple spots to fix in his game and if he can’t be MJ or Lebron level great and carry this team, he will need to go find another superstar to pair up with and get help. And yes I know LeBron paired up but he also carried the cavs year after year to the finals without much help. I know Kyrie helped the year he won in Cleveland, but I think looking at his whole career Kyrie is not quite a superstar like we thought he was early on.

It was suggested that I put this question here, rather than a different thread.BigO wrote:
I'm very curious about the rules if Sacramento takes Bogdan back. Since Bogdan is the one who signed the contract, my assumption is that all the rules associated with it can be waived if Bogdan agrees. For example, the trade kicker could be waived if Bogdan doesn't want to stay with Sacramento. And the one year no trade clause could also be waived. I think he does have to stay there a half year under NBA rules.

So theoretically BB cold be traded to the Bucks at the trade deadline if BB agrees. I'm not even advocating it. I just want to know what the rules are.

I think Donte starts because the season starts in a month, they are already adding 1 new player to Rhein up and makes sense cohesion wise. Plus he deserves to start, he started a lot last year and did well.

The one big reason why he will sign it is he wont have to deal with the constant distraction of his unknown future. Drops a big weight of pressure of himself and the franchises shoulders.

Jrue is one of the most underrated players in the league and he is a big time solid player on both ends and we’re paring him with Giannis and Khris.

I’m a DDV fan, I would’ve loved him to of been our sixth man but he has to start and I have a good feeling about him. I like his chemistry with Giannis to.

Still want to sign a big and trade Wilson.

Portis, Craig, DJ, Forbes. Intriguing new bench

Agree with everything you said other than the part about Jrue. I think he is a decent upgrade on Bled, but I don't think he's underrated at all, based on what we gave up for him.

He’s probably the most underrated player in the NBA. IMO

Based on what we gave up for him, I would think he is not. But Bled and Hill are now in that convo.

Seeing as the Pacers traded TJ Leaf AND a 2nd round pick to pick up a no name shooting guard from OKC, no one is giving us anything for DJ Wilson.

We should look for some Scott Williams/glue guy types. I think we're gonna need it. Old wily vets with championship pedigrees who can stop letting Giannis get soft.

I think we should pick up Glenn Robinson Jr. basically a poor man's 2nd year Khris Middleton without the playmaking ability. But he can defend the 2/3 and gives us more young athletic legs. Plus would be cool to have Big Dog Jr. on the squad.

Are we definitely hard capped? Or can we get one player?

I count 15 already on the roster if you include FMIII. Did they actually sign him or just tender him which they can walk away from?

I guess they could release DJ Wilson but his contract is a decent expiring to include in a midsession trade along with 21 and 23 pick swaps to go further all in.
