Would Boogie consider a bench role for minimum deal?

Jrue did a PSA about getting the vaccine. I'd bet both Giannis and Mids are vaccinated with 1 year olds/newborns running around but who knows.

Mariah isn't having that, so Giannis definitely. Khris I'd imagine too. Was it not an olympic prerequisite?

Nothing different from Horst on vaccinations. "Vast majority of the team"

Actually no I don't think.

https://www.forbes.com/sites/michellebruton/2021/07/23/about-100-of-the-613-team-usa-athletes-in-tokyo-are-not-vaccinated/

"Before leaving for Tokyo, 567 of the U.S. athletes filled out a health history survey in which 83 percent of them reported being vaccinated.

“Eighty-three percent is actually a substantial number and we’re quite happy with it,” Finnoff said Friday before the opening ceremony."

Weird, considering that Japanese people returning to the country are required to get vaccinated & undergo quarantine.

I love that Jrue said "We can teach him how to pass a little more." when answering a question about Jordan Nwora and his development

Donte doing on the court stuff but no 5-on-5 yet. No timetable given.

I wonder if they can give Donte an extension that guarantees a season salary on different amounts based on GP in the preceding season.

Giannis not going 5 on 5. Just ramping up his activity it seems.

Totally good with this, there's no real reason to rush any of the core guys into anything after the extended postseason and short offseason. Let them ease into it as much as necessary. It's going to a be a long season going back to the full 82 games.

Catching up on the media day pressers. Did that reporter essentially ask Semi why he picked Milwaukee over a superteam?

All of the rotation players need to ease into camp/practice/regular season. It's a long way until the playoffs start in April. And for all the angst last season about "settling" for the 3 seed it worked out just fine. Of course I'd rather have the #1 seed but these guys minutes need to be managed for awhile. Ramp things up after the ASB.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I'm totally fine with giving Jrue, Khris, Giannis, & Brook a bunch of days off. Basically never play them on b2bs imo. The regular season just isn't worth it
Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

I hope they start slow but ramp up as the season goes on. I think getting at least the second seed will be important. I know they just won as the 3rd seed but this team is way better at home and ignoring the fake home games in the bubble, this team rarely loses at home in the playoffs.

Seems way more likely to me that Donte and Hill work as a bench mob this season as opposed to Donte snagging the starting spot from Grayson when he comes back from injury.

If Donte were ready at the start of the season maybe he'd earn it. Or if Grayson disappoints he could lose the spot.

But I'm hoping for the best on that front and it seems like Hill and Donte have chemistry already.

Keep forgetting we have George Hill back. That’s a nice depth insurance policy.
