There will be a big media push again for Embiid (who was a deserving candidate, to be fair) since he's been runner-up for two seasons. Luka is the pre-season darling pick and he'll probably have another great year. Jokic will get some votes, even with the voter-fatigue playing a role, since Denver should be healthy and better. Ja Morant might have a great year with Memphis winning a bunch of games. The MVP field is pretty crowded for guys who could win. And I totally forgot Curry.

He does random **** like this and then doesn't do it again for months. He makes no sense at all sometimes.

I talk about this with Pachinko all the time. He works on his hook shots, mid-rangers, fadeaways and suddenly goes away from them for a stretch since 85% of the time he's putting dudes in the basket like it's nothing. He's in that slow, methodical transition from being a power-based player to finesse-based. I think when he's about 31-32 and maybe a half-step slower we're going to see the "Old Man Gianni" finesse game more often. He'll still be functionally strong and agile, just without the insane first step burst.

Apparently Giannis rolled his ankle and was seen icing his knee. Bleacher Report thought that was notification worthy.

Hope he's OK.

According to Greek reporters and the NT head coach Itoudis, he's ok and it was nothing serious. One reporter said he was on the bench laughing with teammates.

What's this Amazon prime thing coming Sept 21st regarding Giannis? Sponsored by WhatsApp?

It's on his IG I'm not understanding what it's about?

Is it a commercial? A new brand launch? A show? I'm confused and intrigued. I hope it's a show, would love more Giannis content!

Sounds cool, but might be a little redundant since Rise explained part of the story. I will still watch it either way. Will be nice to see his story from his eyes.

Nah, same. I don't have Disney+ which is what I'm assuming it streamed on. And didn't think it looked particularly good enough to go sailing for

It's just okay. Pretty underwhelming considering what they had to work with, but probably a good watch for casuals and kids.

I think hard core fans who read the book may feel a little empty because we know the story too well and there's a lot left out.

Yet then when you realize this movie was not made to tell Giannis's story, but really he made this story in honor of his parents. It has a different perspective. I appreciate it more now knowing he dedicated Rise to his parents and family's story and less about himself.

Typical Giannis.

Yeah this is the biggest issue. We all already have the story and this movie is very clearly shoehorning in his family as equal parts to the story. It's nice because you know what he's doing but it does detract from the story like when they pretend thanasis was an ankle sprain away from being Giannis

I think they currently have a Disney+ offer for a month at $1.99 which you can cancel after.

Random look back from PC Boards 2011 Top 100 player AT. Had Lebron at 18 with better personal accolades but no ring. Feel that is where Giannis is right now. Another ring and/or MVP probably has him flirting with the top 13 of all-time behind Curry and Hakeem and ahead of KD/Oscar/MaloneX2, in my book based on the assumption that even an injured/washed Giannis can stick around and put up enough 20/10 seasons to get the longevity stats.

Check out this story from Milwaukee Journal Sentinel: Giannis joins documentary on workers at Oak Creek's Eder Flag

A new short documentary on Oak Creek's Eder Flag and its workers, many of whom are immigrants, has lined up an MVP executive producer.

OK besides first team Euroleague 2022,mip,dpoy,2 mvps, 1 finals MVP, MVP ring, Oscar next?

Imagine if Giannis gets an Oscar while LeBron gets a much less entertaining version of space jam.
