Could see an element of one hand washing the other.

This makes plenty sense, this and the Greek guy we got that shared an agent with Giannis as maybe a favor for Giannis re-signing. Also like a post above me said, a couple of expirings near the deadline. Not too mad about it anymore when I think about these two things lol.

Why make the QO to Nowra if our plan is it bring in another wing?

Hill + Jingles + Brook now hits at about 20mil of expiring money.

some guys in that range
Harrison Barnes,
Brogdog/Myles Turner

I'm missing something. What do we have to attach to that package to make it enticing? I see us having to wait until next summer for those expirings to expire. Which is fine to me.

So I'll just think of this as Portis + Dingles for 17mil this year and then a trade chip for the middle of the season. seems legit

Maybe if his name was Denise instead of Dennis.

Ingles contract is definitely a salary filler for trade.

I mean I don't disagree. It's not like the Bucks have much for assets.

I wonder if part of the Ingles thing is we were seeking a vet who brings a bit of the edge we missed without PJ last year. Stand in the corner, hit threes, talk some **** to the other team.

Does Ingles have any other inuries other than the one ACL? If not, he may be good come spring when it counts.

He's 34. That basically counts as an injury

Expiring picks of serviceable vets are valuable by themselves (to varying degrees) along with a bunch of 2nd rd picks & MarJon.

Lol at Horst giving out another contract with a player option.

Ingles isn't exactly what we need and it's even worse that we gave up the only decent way to get a good player for him. Don't like it at all. We needed to get younger and more athletic. He's the opposite of that.

Considering his wife broke the news, I kind of doubt it. To me, that indicates interest from the team.

Bobby resign is a huge win. We would have a huge scoring issue without him.

If Ingles returns healthy he will be our best playmaker to use besides Giannis. He is way better on PNR than Jrue and Khris.

Carter should play proper minutes this season.

Wes was our most consistent two way guard last season so it's not surprising we kept him for another season. He replaced PJ Tucker without a huge overpay.

We need another playable center just for the sake of allowing Giannis to cruise a bit on defense in the regular season. JaVale McGee is fine by me. Limit the drop defense as much as possible.

Nope, just looked this up. Per Ingles it was a clean ACL tear, no other damage.
