I think Howard would be a fool to come back to the NBA at this point, he has so much more opportunity over there now beyond basketball.

ETA - I still think in the East it's BOS & MIL. Haven't seen anything from another other team at this point that would make me change that. West is more competitive at the top. Suns/Nuggets/Warriors are the best, imo.

The Javale signing is looking like a huge miss for a talent starved Dallas team. It isn't a large amount of money, but they used their taxpayer MLE on him and gave him a 3 year deal with a player option.

I’m not a huge supporter of either guy but it’s good to see AD and Ben Simmons to a lesser extent have some nice stretches of games and show they can still hoop at a high level.

Boston scored 13 big points in the 3rd quarter against that vaunted Brooklyn Net's defense tonight.

I get what JBucks is saying though, Boston's offense has been really efficient so far this season. Probably not sustainable over an 82 game season though. They started to come back down to earth a bit tonight. They've been on fire all season.

Will be interesting when Time Lord makes his return, the Celtics will gain some interior defense obviously but they might lose some of their flow on offense and their defense overall looks kind of meh compared to what it looked like last season. They'll still be our greatest threat to winning another title regardless.

Am I reading this correctly? Trae straight up no showed a game because of an argument with McMillan? I don’t care if he was right, that is incredible loser behavior. I don’t even think McMillan is a good coach or shouldn’t be fired, but there’s been one common denominator for all of Atlanta’s tension/weird locker room energy and it’s not McMillan.

We all remember that Trae quote last season where he claimed "the regular season is boring now" right? Then they proceeded to go 43-39 and get gentleman's swept as an 8th seed in the 1st round. He's the rare player where you watch him on the court and you know 100% what his actual off-court personality is. Entitled loser mentality is strong with him. I'm not saying he's slightly richer man's Brandon Jennings, but....

Boston is launching an absurd 41 three-point attempts per game and hitting them at a 40.6% rate. They've been great but they don't even have the best net-rating (PHX) and that mark is inevitably going to cool off drastically. Even beating Brooklyn yesterday they hit 39.5% on 38 attempts yet only managed a 108.5 offensive rating. We'll see how well their offense adjusts once they stop shooting like the 73-win Warriors on steroids.
