Idk... The personality fit w Giannis is **** weird. Way weirder than Giannis and Dame. Also feels very desperate since Jimmy might very well be washed

Going to break up the Jimmy Butler talk and say ship Marjon to New Orleans for Javonte Green. Blockbuster.

And Mids might not be washed? It's a gamble alright.

Bucks have never been a free agent hotspot, so dont think it would change anything.

I’m curious how we get below the 2nd apron and then still have assets to trade for Jimmy.
It’s not happening.

Need to bring in Detroit somehow and throw some draft picks their way to take Patty C. contract. Unfortunately, Horst wasted a lot of draft picks.

They're 5-29 and giving him CD-DNP's, I think they might take a shot on a younger dude.

Jimmy will want an immediate extension from whatever team aquires him. It's his whole reason for wanting to be traded. I do not want to give him one. Dame has 2 years left including his player option. Butler is a year older and I'm not giving him a new long term deal that would go beyond Dame's current deal. Khris either for that matter. I'm not paying 40 year old Butler
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

We know Horst has one special skill. Figuring out how to get a crazy-ass trade done. He’s pulled it off many times.

If we send out our 2031 first, part of that asset value will be used to get a legal trade. I don’t know how. But he’ll figure it out

Just sign him to a 2 year prove it deal then. The moment he arrives at Fiserv Forum to 147 cheering fans in the blistering cold his heart will melt anyways and he will want to be a Buck for life. Then after his 2 year deal we will build him a statue that looks nothing like him and part ways.

How many trades has Horst won?

In all reality does he really think he gets one where he goes? He is a FA next year. I think
he just wants out of Miami right now because they wouldn't do it.

If Horst wants Jimmy and we hear through the grapevine that Jimmy would be good with a trade to Milwaukee, I think there’s a good chance this goes through.

Like the Dame trade, this requires us to send out legitimate rotation players that could help the Heat get another “guy” in the door along with our draft capital.

I don’t see many other teams that can offer what we can. The Dame trade worked for Portland because they could flip Jrue for assets. To a lesser degree, this would follow a similar path with either Khris/Bobby/? or Khris/Brook going out. As much as we criticize those guys, they have some value and they can help a team win.

Regardless of if the trade ends up happening, it’s good to see us being aggressive on the market. We might be big game hunting this deadline, Butler or no Butler.

It’s all about whether Jimmy puts us over the top to win another chip in the immediate term.

If he does then the large scale risk in years to come becomes much more acceptable.

I think the structure would be something like Middleton and Bobby for him while sending someone like marjon or pat c out for a bag of chips.

I think the price wouldn’t be much higher than that given the lack of options and how toxic the situation is atm.

Anyway that Butler would have to agree that he must play with no contract talk with the new team?

So is the plan to let Dame walk in 2 years or is he going to be looking for another deal too? I’m leaning towards just paying Jimmy because I simply think he’s a better fit than Dame and want to be a defensive oriented team again. We’re already at the end of the rope and I don’t think it’s going to get better with Dame so I’m not really worried about the downside here. If there’s a better deal for Dame I’m all for it but I think he’s gotta be the one to go to improve the team.
