Give me a break.

You don’t think his production is easy to replace?

You can’t just boil down someone’s value to basic points and rebounds. No, his defense really won’t be easy at all to replace. He was one of the best defensive role players in the league last year. And the list of guys who could replace him gets smaller when you factor in shooting/spacing.

I dont see wood coming here unless we move Brook. I think he gets offered more than the MLE by the Pistons anyway but no way hes coming back here to come off the bench when he was the man in DET those last couple of months. He stays put. No way were getting Gallo, Harris, or Wood without a S&T and we have nothing left to give.

Griffin returns next year, and Detroit just traded for Dedman and Tony Bradley. Detroit also continues to take on other bad contracts, slimming there cap space. They do not have his Bird rights.

I think Wood would play more than Brook, even if he was the reserve.

Since this post, the Pistons spent big money on Mason Plumlee and also signed Okafor. They have 4 centers, not including Wood.

Bring the guy Giannis considers a little brother back to Milwaukee!

Come on down, Thon!

They're gonna pay way too much for Augustin. I can feel it.

I’m gonna throw up if we use the MLE on him.

I would love to see Crowder with the Bucks. Not sure how realistic that is.

If you are already disappointed in what the Bucks could do you wont be disappointed when they do it.

Someone correct me if im wrong but does paying Augustine the max possible make any difference for us in terms if signing other guys? My understanding is that he would be our MLE and no matter how much he gets we can only dish out vet min contracts after that.

So really, if thats true, if you look at Augustine as a future trade filler its good for us.

Im assuming he doesn't sign for vet min.

Wild that undersized scoring guards that weren't "pure point guards" have gone from unwanted and out of the league to actual commodities in 2020.

You can split up the MLE, so yes, obviously.

Again, there’s more to the game than box score production. Defense and spacing matter a lot and they aren’t captured well by any of these metrics you’re throwing out here.

We most likely have the BAE (3.6mil, maximum of 2 years) and the MLE (9.3mil, maximum of 4 years) available. Things could change if we do a trade that adds salary.

It keeps us from signing actual valuable players, so it's a really big deal.
