Two seasons for the optimists I want to pull out: 1 is the midseason Tobias trade year where a 48-win Lou Will and Gallo led team took the KD Warriors to 6 games in the first round. Then the year we won it, winning 4 straight to close out Utah and make the WCF even after losing Kawhi late in game 4.

He's not one thing or the other. He's got everything in his history.

I think the second team you’re siting was coached by Lue. Doc was coaching the 6ers in 2021.

At the end of the day, Doc's past playoff record is a lot less important than if he can get Dame to self-actualize within the Bucks offense (and with Giannis).

We HAVE the 2024 version of Shaq and Kobe on this roster. Even with one hand tied behind their back, they achieved a 30-13 record.

Doc is still just a rumor. Nothing has been announced by the Bucks yet.

He's quit ESPN. And at the presser, Horst comes right out and says "we're not going to discuss Doc at this presser"

Have to figure they want to get Doc in town and speculate that they want Joerger as part of the deal. Otherwise I'd assume we'd have gotten a press release by now. And maybe they have to negotiate with Prunty and crew to stay on.

We may yet get Game 2 of #PruntyPower and I'm not at all upset over it.

Your point is solid though. 23(?) seasons, missed the playoffs 4 times. Whatever point anyone wants to make, there is historical evidence to prove.

I realize it's a done deal, just commenting that nothing with Joerger would be announced yet since Doc hasn't been officially announced yet.

His account is run by a team, so who knows? Probably two separate people tweeting.

I, for one, am shocked that Magic appears to have no idea what he's talking about

It better work out because Horst doesn’t deserve to get another coaching hire wrong. He’s already fortunate enough that Giannis is copping all the blame for wanting Griffin when it was his extensive search that put him in the top 3.

So he should have just kept Prunty as interim & ride it out?
