I could easily make this shot. Would you get ejected if the ball came to you and you took a shot instead of throwing it back to the ref?

I say if you make it you get DJ Wilson's roster spot.

Real shtstorm of crowd management though. We were literally trapped behind the stage and security wouldn't let anyone move because of the temporary ropes they had in place for everyone on stage. People were literally passing out and going to medical. I was real close.
Left after the ceremony and had lunch on Third Street because lines were so long to get inside. Expected as much.
Came back an hour later and did a walk thru. Again, crowded, but it shouldn't be that bad for game days.
Loved all the food options and comparatively, the food prices seem OK, due to quality of options.
But, $7 for a soda, $11 for a Coors Light, they are not making it reasonable to go to a game and drink a few of either.

This year Atlanta is dropping 12 oz. craft beers to like $5 or $6 I saw. I'm guessing that same 12 oz. glass would be $10-$12 in our arenas. It is just getting harder and harder to justify buying beer at games. But majority, including myself, will likely keep buying. I wonder what the breaking point is...? It is getting pretty close for me. I don't think I would spend $15 on a domestic nor craft beer. I'm starting to pucker with it being at $10.

What do the craft beers at Miller Park run? I can't remember. I seem to recall a 16oz for $9. Is that right?
EDIT: Nope - varies between $10 - $14 depending on the beer. Although $10 for a 16oz Happy Place IPA isn't so awful for a stadium.
bizarro wrote:$11 for a f’ng Coors is utterly embarassing. What an f’ng joke. These ballparks/arenas are so f’ng ridiculous with this s***.
EDIT: that’s like a 200% upcharge for a schwill beer. A f’ng Coors. I am vomiting.

That’s not too far off from pricing at the Bradley Center if I remember correctly.

I felt like it was $7 for 16 oz. and $9 for a 24 oz. I could be off though. Soda seems similar. I felt I paid like $6 or $7 for the souvenir cup option. It was only like $1 more than the "regular".

The Falcons concession experiment is great, but most of the glowing stories about it have omitted that while sales are up, profit decreased. The ownership group believes this loss is acceptable in terms of possible positive benefits elsewhere, but not all teams are going to be willing to take that chance. I also read that the NFL depends on this type of revenue much less than other leagues.
As it stands, though, I never buy alcoholic drinks at games. My breaking point was well before it hit 10 dollars for a domestic. At least with soda there is the souvenir cup option, so I can bring myself to sort of justify the 7 dollars.
