Mo Bamba has been playing in Orlando. I get questioning his motor, but sometimes there's obviously not a ton to motivate you when you're in a crappy situation.

There have been a lot of talented players who haven't been meeting their potential who suddenly find themselves in a better environment and start maximizing said talent.

Bamba makes more sense the more you think about it. Would love to get him

Does Donte play tonight if he's still on the team? If so, where is his head space after almost being traded last year?

Over the weekend, Boston offered Schröder to Milwaukee for Donte DiVincenzo, which the Bucks countered asking for Grant Williams, sources with knowledge of the discussions told The Athletic. Though sources said the Celtics balked at the offer, the teams continue to explore frameworks that include Williams.

Considering Williams is younger, healthier and playing better than DiVincenzo, it would be difficult to find a deal that makes sense. Williams has become the team’s key reserve big this season, becoming one of the league’s top corner shooters and making notable strides as a defender in Udoka’s switching defensive scheme. Boston could seek to include Romeo Langford or Aaron Nesmith, whose trade value has been akin to a moderate sweetener around the core piece of the deal. Bringing in a young wing who has proven he can be an impact rotation player when healthy makes giving up on a former lottery pick much more palatable, though DiVincenzo is hitting restricted free agency this summer.

If Grant Williams is off limits and the Celtics offer Nesmith instead, I wouldn't mind taking Nesmith in the trade. Another positive is that Nesmith still has two more years of his rookie contract remaining.

Bucks: Schröder and Nesmith
Celtics: DDV, Hood and Semi

I haven't really watched bamba, but on paper, he looks very similar to Brook. Their numbers (Mo - this year, Brook - previous 2) are crazy similar taking into account their roles.

I think he's going to end up in Phoenix.

Am I supposed to be excited about Schroder? Because I'm not.

Schroeder doesn’t fit this team at all. Don’t want him.

What in the hell is the FO doing here?

That would suck. He would be a perfect fit and fill a need.

I think Schroder was/is supposed to be the distraction if they're really going for Williams.

I actually think he does if he was willing to adapt to the role we'd have for him. We could use another good ball handler that can break down the defense and score a bit off the bench. He's better at that than Donte and he could play together with Jrue if we wanted. The problem is he would have to accept being a role player and know when to move the ball and defer to our core guys. These qualities have never really been how Schroder operates.

Are we trying to let Boston tamper for Pat by sending his buddy to the home team?

Didn’t Schroder do some of that when he was on OKC with Chris Paul and SGA? I thought he played a nice complimentary role on that team but I could be misremembering.

Id take him, but he's not a perfect fit because he's a terrible shooter.

Grant Williams would be the prize of the deal.

How high are we on Grant Williams?

Though sources said the Celtics balked at the offer, the teams continue to explore frameworks that include Williams.

Schroder seems fine as a rental to take some of Donte’s mins if Williams is really the target.

Wouldn't surprise me if Boston was asking something ridiculous for Williams.
