Surprised it's a straight one year deal. We couldnt get a team option seems strange.

Guys, we’ve all been around here long enough to know that probably half the people you wanted on the TPMLE said there was no way they were coming to Milwaukee, and the other half are signing deals well above the TPMLE like Monk and Bamba.

Not making excuses for Horst, but the Ingles move might have been the best option of what was left available to them.

One year of Ingles is fine. Salary slot for a deadline deal if needed. One year. The "we could have done better" crowd has no idea who else we could have actually got. Just because a player is a FA doesn't mean he's pining to come here. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

We aren't getting the attention and headlines. We're getting the championship.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

If we can't complain about giving a contract to an old and declining player coming off a serious injury then what can we complain about?

Honestly though who actually signed for that amount that's any good?

I see this as a pretty low risk deal, either Joe is healthy and frisky and hitting threes or he is washed and (as you said) we flip him at the deadline. Not a ton of downside.

Looks weird now. But come February in an alternate universe and this guy is back running the court, we would be pretty excited to add him mid season for the TPE instead of a Blake level buyout.

I think the Bucks saw this as a moderately low risk versus the potentially (best case scenarios where Ingles' three point barrage swings a playoff game or two in our favor) high rewards outcomes and pulled the trigger.

Not a fan of the Ingles move AT ALL. 35 coming off an ACL? C'mon man.

When is Jingles anticipated return? I remember posters here suggesting he would just retire, but here we are.

Bringing back the band is kind of fun. Still hope to see a trade or two.

Congrats to Bobby. From what little I know, the Bucks gave him the most they possibly could.

Getting back both Bobby and Pat is huge, bringing back Wes/Carter is actually pretty nice. Having four trade pieces in Brook/hill/Allen/ingles is good. Drafting a young athletic switchable defender was nice. Owners spending is always a great sign.

Ingles getting the exception is ugly, not getting any other young athletes is concerning, Marjon seems to be a while away from contributing, if at all.

Grade B offseason so far, I don’t have much of a problem with anything that we did. Some future sight down the road and you can see the plan and path moving forward.

Maybe the Ingles deal is for some potential shooting depth after we trade Grayson and Hill lol.

Tore it late January. Would think sometime around the new year.

Who were our other options for the TP MLE? I saw Oladipo off the board for way more than that. I'm sure we talked to guys who wanted more money or didnt want to come here.

I'd like to give the Bucks the benefit of doubt that Jingles isn't washed but I did that last year with Hood, so i'll just sit this one out.

Ingles is kind of a roll the dice move, but if it works out we will be a great fit. He's still a guy you can't leave open.
