I'm at the point where I think Giannis is just trolling everyone. He even made a "6-7" joke about him changing his mind, which at the time I had no clue wtf "6-7" was or that he was meme'ing. Plus, I think this new wave of youth will encourage him to stay.

Bigger story:

Horst and Edens all but dared Giannis to demand out publicly and he didn’t.

Then Giannis got pissed when Edens put him on the spot at media day to deny it and lashed out.

But now this team is (shockingly) looking like one Giannis very well might extend with — of course with caveat it’s extremely early.

That said, this wouldn’t be the first or even the second time Horst made absurdly risky big balls moves without a guarantee from Giannis that he’d stay (much less extend) that ultimately won out for the Bucks.

Bingo. That's always been my perception of him. With Woj's reports I at least bought into him being a quality newsman when he spoke. Shams, no matter what he says, just comes off like he's making **** up.

I love that the national sports media seems clueless to the fact that Giannis is a master troller. Giannis is having the time of his life making them look like total fools and they are totally oblivious.

Shams when Giannis trolls him and tells him there is a 1 in a million chance he'll leave the Bucks.

any team offer would be blah blah blah. the point is that he wanted out. nothing more nothing less.

right now hes on the same bandwagon we are with this team. that needs to be understood that hes only as solid as the thinkness of the ice he stands on at the moment

I'm shocked that someone who's been completly wrong about this team is convinced he's the only one who's right about this.

completely wrong how? ive been optimistic about the group...was excited about the new playing approach.... and i can read media reports that giannis himself confirms. like theres not even any confusion here??

for the record...i love the makeup of the new squad. i think they can win. i think they can win more if giannis is 100% committed especially on the off chance he stays healthy.....and I think we can win if we punt him for more top shelf assets that buy in too. we have a winner here and we have a ton of options and we hold the cards for what our future holds. not him. im as positive about the squad as ive been in years. lets go!

I'll go with another Dumb & Dumber reference.

Shams in May (Maybe even June) when the Bucks win 55+ games this season and make a longer than expected playoff run and it appears that Giannis will retire a Buck.

You said they'd only win 4 out of 7, the locker room would be toxic, and Giannis would be out the door by Christmas.

I'm glad you've seen the light now, and the next step is to admit that Shams is nothing but clickbait garbage.

that all may still happen. depends on giannis attitude..his health...his engagement. im watching him very closely. ive got my eye on him.

hes got his eye on us and wants to win...i understand that. every year he says now that he thinks about tasting fruit elsewhere about what it would be like someplace else.

well what YOU need to know....what HE needs to know....is that ive got my eye very closely watching him. Ive got my eye on HIM. there isnt any player on this team that should think they can take MY LOYALTY for granted. who the **** do you think you are if your a piss ant player on this team expecting I have to root for you no matter what?

dude, do a sudoku and chill out
At a party given by a billionaire, Kurt Vonnegut informs Joseph Heller that their host had made more money in a single day than Heller had earned from his novel Catch-22.

Heller responds, “Yes, but I have something he will never have — ENOUGH.”

read between the lines man. that was total tongue in cheek meet the fockers **** from start to finish.

the only takeaway is that i, myself, also enjoy looking across the league and thinking about whatever delicious fruit might be available in trade if this thing starts to go off the rails. im really excited about the future of this team with giannis...or without. im actually kind of casual about it. i think thats where the disconnect is. most this board is desperate to be with giannis even if its like 2nd favorite side chick. im like meh maybe nah

You're just preparing yourself mentally for his eventual departure. It will be sad. It's ok to be sad.

if you mean sad like when dame blew his achilles and lost all his trade value or when sid's knees finally went or when boguts elbow went to hell or when khris broke down then yeah id agree. make make no mistake each and every one i was sad but also ready and primed for what came next.

but with "healthy giannis" whatever that means.....if youre saying getting a **** ton of picks and salary flexibility and a young stud or two in the middle of this new brand style of ball were playing instead of 1-2 more years prime giannis and the old school broke ass version of the bucks....and that is supposed to make me sad to think about.....then like i said...meh not so sure.....

maybe id even be super excited to see what that looks like!?!

im open minded to moving him and have been for awhile. youre not. i see a future without him and have for awhile. you dont most dont. i get it. my feelings arent hurt. but im clear. no confusion or copium whatsoever i assure you on what im calculating that the next chapter looks like and i'll always appreciate the last and that one year he gave us all and the regular seasons where we thought we were the shiznit but werent. those were great...sort of besides the one.

so make no mistake now...in my mind the torch is being handed over. its up to GIANNIS to fit the future not the other way around. he needs to guard his goddam mouth and actions if he wants my support

Anyone that cant see that Shams has boxed himself into a corner and is simply doubling down constantly are the exact type of people modern sports journalists target.

Take that statement however you'd like
