Man, I am excited about this kid. Hopefully we don't trade him for Kyle Korver.

No that won't happen. It will be for Novak. Hometown kid and all.

Still think the main learing curve is going to be when to look for his own shot. Right now he looks like he is pass first, second, third & then shoot a distant fourth. It's not that big of a deal in this setting because he is a seriously good passer, but I've seen him pass up a few good looks today. Similar issue to Bogut. Love his rebounding efforts though. That length will translate.

12 points, 12 boards, 7 assists. I'll take it.

Ηis AST would be up if Greece had a Big Man who could catch the ball as though it isn't a bomb, and his Rebs would be down if they had a half-decent Center too.

Pretty nice line again for him today. Looked fairly effortless. Seemed to be gliding in comparison to yesterday. Any chance this kid could legitimatly play the PG position? He has amazing vision. Really impressed with his passing ability.

Does anyone know if we can see a shot chart of him for the whole tournament? Because I am starting to believe most of his attepted shots are from 3pt and Drives/Post ups. I don't remember a lot of Long 2 which states good Shot Selection

Larentzakis was impressive yesterday when he scored so much in the 4th qtr, 15 points, to finish with 25.
Bochoridis and Papapetrou are solid. Agravanis is good. Those 3 all finished with the highest +/- on the floor today. I could see how somebody would think that they were the best players on the team.
The team as a collective has been very good throughout the tourney.

Only saw Larentzakis yesterday, but he seemed like kind of a chucker to me. He should have value because he can get his shot off whenever he wants.
Bochoridis is decent all-around PG.
Agravanis has some intrigue for me. He's got good size and athleticism.
I like Papapetrou. Decent all around SF, should have a pretty good career at Texas, possible NBA potential.

Nice observation. It does seem like his shots are behind the line, off of cuts to the hoop or on offensive rebounds.

First time I have seen him and it seems like he has a huge upside. We will see how he handles the speed of the NBA. Can't wait to see him in a Bucks uniform.

I have def not watched many of the hilights, but sure seems he sits out at that three points line a lot. Not sure if that is the offense or Giannis is the next TimTom.

in europe u rarely see mid range jumpers. 3 point line is a meter closer to the basket and coaches discourage players from taking mid range shots as they prefer the attacks to be good 3point shots or attacks in the paint. Only situation for a mid range shot is pick n pop

Most of greek basketball is played near the rim or outside the 3pt line. There was a shot chart from an olympic or world championship game Greece had a few years ago, where every shot was behind the line or 4-5 feet from the basket, nothing from mid range. So I'd say he's game is typical for a greek player.

In the limited action I saw, the vision was there offensively but I doubt he would ever be quick enough to guard most NBA point guards (I don't know of many 6'10" guys on the planet with that ability). Looks very impressive though.

I haven't had a chance to watch any of his games yet, but it sounds like he plays a bit like LeBron, but has a body closer to Durant. These comparisons are obviously the poor/homeless man versions, but that is what I've kind of taken away from everyone's observations.

they've got some knock down shooters on that team. very good team they have. I'm not a huge fan of pap but I like his game enough to where I think he can be an NBA player. I wouldn't be shocked at all if this team won the tournament.

that's the offense. they rarely have him down low. his best attribute is passing and ball handling, while being able to hit an outside shot. Down low is not his game.

Tbh, the 3pt line distance difference isn't as big as we all believe. It's only half a meter at the peak (22' 2" in FIBA, 23' 9" in the NBA), and the NBA corner is closer than the FIBA peak.
