My two cents, Mark Jackson is not getting black balled for his beliefs, he is getting black balled for being obtuse, self centered, and hard to work with.

And for being a lunatic.

https://grantland.com/the-triangle/the-champs-are-here-a-guide-to-the-elite-and-unlikely-cast-of-characters-who-defined-the-2014-15-golden-state-warriors/

In his zeal to motivate players, Jackson fostered resentment among them and toward the front office. He fired two assistants, requested Jerry West stay away from practices, and asked a younger front-office official to stop rebounding for players, sources have said.

When Ezeli was injured last season, Jackson and his staff told the healthy players that Ezeli was cheering against them — so that he would look good, according to several team sources. Players confronted Ezeli in a meeting, and he wept at the accusation — which he denied.

Jesus. (Intentional irony). Wasn't he basically a rookie under Jackson too?

Signed him to a max deal just 4 years ago.

Amazing.
That is so crazy. I knew nothing about him when we signed him, but convinced myself it was a great move. Times done changed.

And it's not like he regressed or anything, he's still exactly the same guy he was back then.
Just totally failed talent evaluation by the Bucks. He is tall though! :D

I wouldn't have minded Korkmaz as a developmental wing, but he went back to 6ers. I thought he had signed with a foreign team, but I guess he got out of that contract.

ESPN posted an article with the over/under totals from Caesars. The Bucks are at the top with 57 ahead of the Clippers at 55.5. The Bucks were pretty lucky last year with injuries, so I could see them ending up under. At the same time, the roster is pretty damn deep to start the season. What do people think?

Atlanta Hawks 36
Boston Celtics 49½
Brooklyn Nets 47
Charlotte Hornets 24
Chicago Bulls 30½
Cleveland Cavaliers 24
Dallas Mavericks 41
Denver Nuggets 52
Detroit Pistons 37½
Golden State Warriors 47
Houston Rockets 52
Indiana Pacers 48½
LA Clippers 55½
Los Angeles Lakers 51½
Memphis Grizzlies 25½
Miami Heat 43½
Milwaukee Bucks 57
Minnesota Timberwolves 35
New Orleans Pelicans 39
New York Knicks 27
Oklahoma City Thunder 28
Orlando Magic 40½
Philadelphia 76ers 54½
Phoenix Suns 27
Portland Trail Blazers 47½
Sacramento Kings 37
San Antonio Spurs 43½
Toronto Raptors 45
Utah Jazz 52½
Washington Wizards 28½

Toronto might drop to the fourth best team in their div. I can see them right in that mid-40s range.

I'd def take the Pelicans and Wiz under. WSH was bad w/o Porter and that got highlighted following the trade (10-27 to finish the season).

I like Chicago to break 30 wins. They are the classic example of a team that has been intentionally trying to loss for a few seasons, a d are now flipping the switch to “attempt to win” which in a lot of years gets you around the 30 win mark. Improvement from Lauri M and a full season from Wendall Carter solidifies their big rotation. They signed two nice vets. I don’t “playoff” like them. But I think I “31 win” like them.

J Kidd was our non-publicly zealous Mark Jackson. Asking for a pecking order vote is one example of similar tendencies. Forbidding Giannis' jumpers & 3s another.

The c--- tried to belittle the main cog in the Warriors establishing their defense. Mark had nothing to do with that transformation.

Draymond has stated that he owes his defensive prowess to Andrew's example & IQ. Nice try snake. He envied what they did without him holding everyone back.

Warriors fans seem to think he has a 5-6 month injury. Think they might be slightly disappointed lol

Def taking the Pelicans under. I think they’re getting way overhyped for a team so young with so many unanswered questions. Bulls over 30.5 looks nice, Timberwolves under 35 as well. I think their “duo” of Towns and Wiggins won't stack up well against the West.

I’m staying away from the Bucks, I actually have them in the 55-58 range so I can’t say one or the other.

Kinda crazy how accurate these often are.

Definitely under on the Pelicans, but they're going to be fun as hell and I'd bet they'll be a playoff team next season.

Seems especially so this year outside of a couple. Last year I remember feeling like there was more than a handful of really obvious picks, the Bucks being one.

Don't give a **** what Vegas thinks. There's only one prediction that counts, and it comes from a Racine press box.

For the most part I'd say bets on the lower end West team's unders seems like a good idea. Teams like Dal, Pels, PHX. Couple other Unders I'd probably do are ATL and Nets.

One thing to mention is that I think when this first opened in LV the Spurs were at like 39.5. I see that's been corrected now. I bet the sharps pounced on that one.

ETA: Rewind to this topic last year and I had the Knicks under as the biggest lock I might've ever seen. Nailed that one for once but I don't see a massive lock here like last year
Resident Lillard truther since 2015.

Yeah, but I could totally see Steph and Draymond coming out in f-you mode. Plus, they added a third all-star in D'Angelo. I'd be surprised if they don't hit 50 wins.

Return to Milwaukee Bucks
