Bucks will draft Giles or Jarrett Allen because they are probably the riskiest/dumb picks just to get RealGM fired up

The Schwartz connection has been a big concern for years here since before the new ownership. Could someone fill me in with a quick summary?

Yikes.. watching him trying to bring the ball up court in the press is brutal. Not what you want to see out of a ball handler lol.
My hot take: Not an NBA Point Guard. If you're drafting him to be your starting 1, you're making a terrible mistake.

That's why I said I don't agree with everything displayed. Ntilikina has a solid (even good) handle and can execute some very advanced moves some other PGs in this draft can't. While he has some issues bringing the ball up the court, DX are also greatly exaggerating. Overall the video's are very short even though there are much more samples to touch on.

Kidd's agent was Schwartz, I believe all of the below are just his clients....if you extend the Excel management tree further, I think there are some others.
Fired Drew, Hired Kidd
Signed Bayless
Signed Kenyon Martin
Traded for MCW
Drafted Vaughn
Middleton extension
Linked to Tyson Chandler
Linked to Rubio
Signed Mirza
Traded Ennis for Beasley

Don't forget Telly and Delly. And excel also represents Middleton, MCW, Brandon Jennings, Tyler Ennis, and Michael Beasley.

I got Mirza and Delly must be an excel guy cause I didn't see him on the list of Schwartz clients. But did notice something PP will love, Kemba Walker is a Schwartz client too.

Oh my bad. Malik Monk is also a Schwartz client, if we trade up

Maker was 1000% a John Hammond pick, regardless of Thon's agent...I don't know that I have ever seen a grown man as excited and beaming as Hammond is when he thinks or talks about Thon.

Still, at the time many were like wtf. Also, it could just be a factor in who they give a chance and further look at. In this case it looks like it's for the best, but who knows if Hammond would've gotten that close to him if not for the connection

3 mistakes on the list so far. Kidd, Mirza, Vaughn.
The others could be argued were very minimal cost wise.

Excel represents 155 total, or around 30% of all NBA players if we're going by opening day roster counts as of the start of the 2016-17 season. I really don't think it's that big of a deal or some grand conspiracy.

Excel is the biggest management company, so I don't think the connection is as bad of a thing as people make it sound. Mirza made sense and Vaughn isn't even 21 yet, so in general, the MCW thing (maybe Vasquez was excel?) is the biggest stinker.

Re: 2017 NBA DRAFT Part 3
Mike Schmitz was on Nate Duncun's podcast saying that Fultz is on the same tier as a prospect as when Derrick Rose and John Wall came out. Does that seem insane to anyone else? Most over hyped prospect in 10+ years. Anyone want to take a pride bet with me on if Fultz ever makes an all star team?

Even if the videos are short, struggling to get the ball to mid court with one guy pressing you is concerning. It happened multiple times in that video, and I can't remember Brogdon ever having that much trouble.
Even aside from that the pick and rolls and ball handling in general looked sloppy.

I don't want to take that bet with you, because there are some red flags with Fultz, maybe the biggest, if he is the guy some people think he is, why in the world would the Celtics pass on him? And extra high pick is nice, but that tells me, them even having discussions about trading the pick means they didn't value him much over other prospects in this draft.
