It might be the historic margin of victory numbers the team is accumulating as assembled. Some of us also aren't letting the most recent game versus a potential playoff opponent cloud our dismantling of other potential playoff opponents in weeks prior.

But what it really comes down to, is no amount of tinkering to this roster can overcome games in which Giannis tries to plow through a wall of defenders rather than distribute to wide open teammates. Thankfully Giannis continues to improve in this area and games like this past one vs Philly are fewer and farther between.

Yes, the best team in the league, arguably better than last year's squad who was 2 wins from the Finals, will most definitely NOT be ok in the playoffs.

Would you do this trade w/ Orlando, and would Orlando:
MKE gets: Evan Fournier, DJ Augustin.
ORL gets: Eric Bledsoe, Wesley Matthews, Sterling Brown, First Round Pick (Indy's?)

If you want to hear hot takes listen to Bill Simmons compare this bucks team to the 2008-09 Cavs. We won’t get any respect until we at least get to the finals. It just is what it is.

and they likely won't deserve any respect until that point either....As good as the Bucks have been...they still haven't done anything that matters.

I think Marcus Morris would be a good target at the deadline. He's shooting 46% from 3PT this year and he has playoff experience. It may take the Pacers 1st to get it done, but he's worth it. Morris has killed us in the past and would be a nice floor spacer when the lane clogs on Giannis in the playoffs.
We're going to turn this team around 360 degrees.

Eh. What's annoying is the incessant "Milwaukee needs to win THIS YEAR," "where will Giannis go in 2021," "Giannis was sitting three seats from his teammates after getting his eye gouged out!" I think PP mentioned this and I support the theory: hear that enough and it will start to weigh on you. Although I don't think there's a chance he bolts, constant media pressure is my lone fear of what could sway him.

So it's possible to think ESPN is full of hacks and also be mad when those hacks say dumb, uneducated **** that frames a narrative about your team.

From a strictly on-the-court perspective, not a bad addition depending on the price. That 3pt% is a huge outlier for him though. Even his C&S percentage has never eclipsed 40% until this year.

Regardless, I don't think my moral compass would let me root for Marcus Morris

Last year we had a historical regular season as well. I agree that this team may be better than last years team as well. To me the goal is a ship anything less is a disappointment. Even though we are destroying other contenders improving this team is necessary. Remember in the playoffs games slow down and teams are far more careful with the ball. Our team thrives on transaction and we lose some of that advantage in April. We need another guy who can create in the half court and hit big shots. I don't know Bogdan from sac perhaps lol.
Bucks fandom bringing me happiness still seems like a dream.

It isn't sacrilegious to perhaps question if the team's playoff ceiling is high enough. The team is really good but if it can potentially upgrade it's an option worth exploring.

Other than being Marcus Morris, he is almost the perfect addition. It's hard to look past that one flaw though.

I can’t stand him either so it pained me to even type his name. He was a big time shot maker for the Celtics and always seemed to play well against MKE.

But, why I can’t stand him as a person is why I want him as a Buck. We need the guy not afraid to take the big shot, take a hard foul, and bring a little swagger and bad boy mentality to this squad. Too many nice guys. We need him.

 Well played

I guess some of you haven't noticed how well Fournier's been doing this year.
