Again, there’s more to the game than box score production. Defense and spacing matter a lot and they aren’t captured well by any of these metrics you’re throwing out here.

Why isn’t here here then? We didn’t want him. Simple. Glad management felt the same way . If we wanted him here he’d be here.

He's not here because he wants a ring, more money, and to have his defense be valued. He was a very strong defender all year, and did the best job of anyone on Jimmy in the bubble. Bud failed to recognize that, and I'd bet that pissed Wesley off.

You're not getting a perfect player for the BAE, but if you're getting a very good perimeter defender that keeps Khris from chasing around the opponent's best wing every night for that amount, it is a no-brainer.

Yeah totally, it had to be that we didn’t want him. Couldn’t possibly be that Wes preferred playing for the champions in LA over a 2nd round flameout in Milwaukee.

We didn’t want him. Didn’t even offer him.

I do think the Bucks "ring chaser" draw has probably fallen off compared to last year.

While he clearly wanted to play for LA > MIL, Wes was one of the main reasons we were a 2nd round flameout.

We didn’t want him. Didn’t even offer him.

Even if this was true, it would just mean the Bucks are an immensely stupid team.

And the champions wanting him dumps on this whole “we didn’t want him so therefore he can’t be that good” argument.

I dig this but why does Sacramento do it?

I mean this 'solid plan' breaches the hard cap, but yeah, solid plan.

What hard cap? That is no longer in play I thought.

There is something wrong with me. And yet this feels happy and normal.

We're back to normal, where we needed to be.

Just a shame that the league couldn't intervene in July 2010 when Hammond had that pre-negotiated 5/$30 deal set for Drew Gooden.

Starting is a big deal to Wes. We probably told him we had other plans at starting SG so he went to replace Green.

There are a lot of potential value signings to be had. But, goddammit BB would’ve been a perfect fit.
