I think this is a ploy by Jon Horst to get Bucks fans to bone up on the CBA.

Really didn't understand why we cut Elijah. He is a good 3rd stringer.MVP2110 wrote:?s=19

Diakite looked pretty bad in Summer League.
Jeez, is the season starting soon? So boring.

Love debating Bryant and Diakite while enjoying our championship. A year ago we were hyperventilating about Giannis signing an extension. Good times.

The stressful times are fun in hindsight. But it's good to be merely bored waiting for the season.

How much PT do we think Hood gets? I could see him being a mainstay in the rotation or I could see him being an end of the bench guy that never plays.

To be honest, I still forget he's on the team sometimes but yeah, he's a big wild card. He might be pretty cooked to the point where he doesn't play much but if he can regain his form a bit I like that he gives us another experienced scoring option. He 's probably competing directly with Nwora for minutes as they fill the same role.

If he can look anywhere near his pre-Achilles tear, we got a steal. He could give you 20 on any given night. This will be year 2 since the injury so hopefully he's feeling and moving better now. Watching him with the Raptors last year, he could still find ways to be crafty and score, but he was noticeably slower and his shot profile didn't have quite the same lift.

Both their expressions are so perfect it almost seems staged.
Can this team get any more likable?

My wife saw JOB in town and my only conceivable thought to explain it was some type of Giannis documentary the team was doing with former teammates.

Props to your wife for recognizing JOB out of uniform, pretty sure I wouldn't have.

How on earth does your wife know who JOB is?
Impressive.

Rodney hood is 28, his injury history is relevant but he seems like a prime candidate for a career resurgence

Possibly. Many players never recover from an Achilles injury. Someone like Durant is very much the exception to the rule. It is very possible that the days of Hood being a viable NBA player are over. Still, it is worth the gamble for the Bucks on a 1 year deal because a player like Hood would have been out of their price range without the injury issue.

Yep. Hood is a lottery ticket. If he hits, they get a rotational player that they really didn’t have the assets to acquire. If he misses, they weren’t banking on him contributing and it was minimal cost.

A lottery ticket? We’re basically hoping Hood can be the Rudy Gay of the last few seasons at best right?
