Buddies and I recently started playing Stardew Valley together. I'd played a ton solo back in the day, but man, playing with friends is so much more fun.

The Steam Deck is saving my butt right now, otherwise I wouldn't be able to play anything right now.

New POE league details are starting to leak so my brain has become broken. Bouncing off of literally everything within an hour of picking it up. This has happened almost every league for the past 7 years. It's brutal, lol.

There's a few games I'm still looking to play, but damn has this been incredible. Rankings with 2 months left in the year:

1. Expedition 33
2. Hades 2
3. Death Stranding 2
4. Silksong
5. Blue Prince

Haven't played Split Fiction, Final Fantasy Tactics, Trails in the Sky FC, or Yotei - won't ever be able to play Bananaza (obligatory **** you Nintendo). Crazy crazy year.

KCD2 is still my GOTY. That's probably in the RPG pantheon for me.

I really need to revisit it. I just wish I could turn down the difficulty a bit.

There's a bunch I still want to play more of, like Ender Magnolia, Avowed, Hades II, The First Berserker: Khazan, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, Ghost of Yotei, and Absolum.

Haven't played Suikoden I & II HD Remaster, Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, and Shinobi: Art of Vengeance but want to.

Still can't wait to play Ninja Gaiden 4, Double Dragon Revive, Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection, Satisfactory, and Terminator 2D: No Fate.

But my GotY is pretty easily Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.

Blue Prince was my favorite game of the year but it’s really not a game in the sense of the word. It feels more like you’re playing a roguelite mansion drafting boardgame, really a unique experience. And there’s just so much more there, every time you think it’s over. The mysteries really captured my imagination.

Blue Prince is also my game of the year. We've almost solved the final mystery, but even just finding room 46, which is much easier, was an incredible experience.

Enjoying the hell out of Battlefield 6 even though I'm worse than usual at the shooting in this game lol. Having a ball reviving folks, droning, etc. though and just the general chaos of the game.

Also checked out yet another beta of ARC Raiders...if you're into the looter extraction genre, it's probably the best there is, at least in my opinion. I'm not really into the genre but have been having a great time with it.

I'm not a big looter extraction game guy, Tarkov whooped my ass. But I watch The Burnt Peanut on Twitch from time to time and seeing him play Arc with Shroud looked pretty fun.

Good lord...

I was hoping to use the New Zealand trick after work but it sounds like this is getting a universal release around the globe at the same time. So after work tomorrow.

Looking forward to the review embargo dropping this afternoon.

My friends are obsessed with Tarkov. I really, really tried to like it but it is just such a chore to play. I get the desire for realism but that game essentially requires you to have two monitors so that you can figure out where you have to go on the map. ARC Raiders took basically every issue I have with Tarkov and fixed it.

My favorite PvP shooter experience ever was Ghost Recon: Wildlands 4v4 Ghost War. Arc Raiders looks pretty similar. I'll check it out at some point, I'm sure.
