This might be the type of move we've been waiting for when it comes to parting w/ the '31 1st.

Idea.

T1 Giannis to SAS for #1 (Flagg), #14 (Queen), 2027 ATL 1st, Vassell, Johnson
T2 Kuzma to ORL for Anthony, Bitadze

get rid of lopez, idc how.

PG - Anthony, Rollins, (Lillard)
SG - Vassell, Green, Porter Jr.
SF - Johnson, Trent Jr.
PF - Flagg, Portis, Smith
C - Queen, Bitadze, Sims

Then in 2027 look for a PG (Brandon McCoy, Jason Crowe Jr., Dylan Mingo)

A Reaves trade that doesn't involve Giannis would be hilarious.

"BREAKING: The Los Angeles Lakers and Milwaukee Bucks have agreed in principle to a trade involving..."

Oh man, I can see their little hearts breaking already. Like that scene in Gran Torino when the lawyer is reading Walt's will, and seeing the entitled granddaughter's face when he leaves the car to Thao.

Ironically, Queen would be a beautiful fit next to giannis.

All the Giannis trade talk/ideas should go into the Giannis thread please. Lots of ongoing discussion there.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Your analysis is correct, but one sided:

1) I think Green has been underutilized. He is a much better ball handler than we've seen (I saw him a lot in college and AAU), because he is only asked to shoot.

2) I'd take Green over Pritchard on defense and it's not close. Defense is half the game.

Eh I think defense is 35% of the game now. Offensive skills are just so much more valuable in a league thats super high pace putting up 115 pts/game average.

2nd rd avg is 109. 1st rd 107 but thats skewed a lot by Miami and Orlando. Around 5% drop ppg is pretty small.

What's skewing it is a few blowout games and overtime games. Teams are having a hard time scoring and except for Indiana, it's a halfcourt game.

I don't think offense is more important. The perception of importance is based on the increase importance of the three point shot relatve to twos.

They're definitely letting a lot of physical play happen. Sort of refreshing. Playoffs usually are that way but this year it's been chippy.

We really really need to offer that ‘31 1st to okc for 3 of their protected picks. It gives them the ability to get a higher variance pick further out which they are in short supply of, and we bet on ourselves.

This also gives them a longer term asset that they could use in a pick package for help when they need to start consolidating.

If Giannis stays and we keep it under the 1st apron, Khris will be a great buyout add.

Not in this coming season. Can’t play for team that traded him until the following year.

If you could send out Giannis to the Mavs. Lopez sign and trade to Houston and Kuzma and Conny (opt in) to whoever......

Get back Flagg, 3-4 more players and a bunch of Picks.

I would be tempted.
