We're going to have to see how this plays out. I thought this team already had more potential than a good majority of people. This even improves their chances. I guess they may not be done either.

But it's a huge risk. They may have to make new rules named after Horst to ban pick swapping and stretching if this really goes south.

There is so much to process here.

Im in, if there is another piece to add.

I love our frontcourt (Giannis, Turner, Bobby).

We have good shooting (Turner, Bobby, Trent, Green, Porter Jr).

I feel we need another wing who can shoot and create.

Don't shoot me but a coworker was trying to tell me we're getting Booker. I obviously don't believe it for a second but I'm imagining the scenario.

I certainly can't crucify Horst for not being creative anymore though. We'll see what we can do with the MLE and if they can flip Kuzma/Pat for a better wing and/or a backup PG still. Feels like there needs to be to come (although we did say the same after the Kuzma trade...).

Yes, at the end of the day you can't say Horst and Company aren't trying. Whether it's the right move or wrong move will be seen, but they are trying to field a competitive team. My hope was Giannis would be willing to stick around for a gap year, but I think once they saw Hali and Tatum go down the Bucks figured they have to be creative and try to take the East.

If we can somehow flip Kuzma/Pat into a solid player I will be happy.

Well, that's going to saddle us for a minute. We could really regret this in the long run, but we'll see how it works out. It's exciting, as of now, like the original Dame signing I had mixed feelings about then too.

This also doesn't explain what we traded for Turner. But we might have some cap space next season to add another creative force.

We signed him with cap space.

LOL Cole Anthony? Really?

What is with some of you guys trying to dunk on Cole Anthony.

Who do you have in mind?

I laid out why I don't like Cole Anthony. Nothing has changed in two days to change my mind.

I wouldn't say 3 years of 20+ mil on the books after his old deal would have expired is 'devasting' but its not ideal.

Did this move free up 40 mil from this year, not including the Turner deal?

Yes, we know, Big O. You're the authority.

So which names should we be monitoring for the Bucks? Think they could use some wing help still.

Turner is the perfect big next to Giannis. Really excited about him. Dame just didn’t fit with Giannis, despite how it looked on paper. Giannis needs to be the fulcrum of the team and Dame just confused all that. Excited to see what making Giannis the unquestionable center of gravity again brings back to the team.

But if you think he's never going to play meaningful minutes for us ever again due to that injury it's probably the right move

I can think of one poster who considered it.

STJ gets a lot of **** but people are going to have to update their priors. He's right a lot.

I'm humbled. Thanks man!
