If Sarver had a sliver of dignity or self awareness he would just sell because everyone hates him and he would make like a cool billion in profit. But if he had those things he probably wouldn't be in this mess. Instead hell lawyer up and fight. Sucks for suns fans and not great for the league.

He's basically a broke boy version of Daniel Snyder.

Sarver article finally out. Feels like the worst case scenario for suns fans. Cements his already awful reputation as an owner but unless there's more actual proof that's not in here I don't see enough for the league to actually Sterling him and force him out.

Having a bad owner is truly the worst thing for a fan base. Bad players, coaches, or front office eventually get replaced. Bad owner **** stays around forever.

Being one degree separated from a former Sun's employee and having been the +1 to a number of Suns employee functions myself, we'd talk about Sarver and the Sun's organization quite often so none of the behavior described in this article is a surprise. My impression of Sarver up close was an out of touch middled aged rich guy who didn't really work anymore and had two young sons so he got his kicks from meddling with the Suns as his play thing/property and being performative try hard. He's a guy who wanted to be acknowledged as the boss at all times but also wants to somehow be "one of the guys", there's a very strange dichotomy between the toxic cutthroat corporate work environment he expects on one hand with the non-serious way he conducted himself. Is he a racist and misogynist? I dunno, maybe, I can't read his heart but he's most definitely an **** but like you said none of that really raises to the level of removal. I'll have to go ask about any personal anecdotes from those years in the Suns organization, everybody in the org longed for the Colangelo years for well over 10 years after the sale of the team amd probably still today for anybody that's left that remembers it. The Bucks championship was especially sweet coming against Sarver's team, lets just say that.
I also live out here and honestly some of the Colangelo hero worship is a little puzzling since it was his mismanagement of finances that directly lead to Sarver owning the team. They're the only team out here I actually root for, moved right before the start of the Nash era so that hooked me and I was a Barkley fan as a kid so already had some affiliation with the franchise. I just feel bad for the fans because the suns have been here forever and actually have real die hard fans who have to hold their nose and root for a team owned by this **** bag.

I think Sarver will survive this with some sensitivity training BS and some significant charitable donations. Didn't reach the level of the old school racism of Donald Sterling that seems to be the bar for ousting an owner.

But it'll be interesting to see how the team reacts to this, especially CP3 given he had a front row seat to the Sterling debacle.

The Bulls loss wasn't that bad. It's impressive they brought it back considering the 6ers were having one of those nights where they couldn't miss from 3. They probably would've won had Lavine not gone into hero-mode.

Still only his third game but it's brick after brick for Cade.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Think one of the bigger mistakes was taking DJ Wilson over Jarrett Allen. Allen had a huge game last night for the Cav's. He and Mobley form an amazing frontcourt duo.

Allen is really nice, the Nets would be better with him, but if we're re-drafting, OG Anunoby is definitely the guy.

Imagine playing the Nets with Giannis at center and OG guarding KD.

I admit I have no feel for college basketball and I don't know what "he was good in college" means exactly, or how is it different to "he was good in Lithuania". But just from those couple of NBA games I've watched, the guy just doesn't look anything like he was described, he's not particularly tall, or crafty, or accurate, or good at basketball tbh.

It might be an injury or it might be too early, but then again there have been so many underwhelming top 3 picks the last few years that he might just be crap and it wouldn't surprise me at all.

Boston has a couple of defensive wings/guards and took away Miami's white guys. If you do that there's really not a lot left in terms of scoring, Bam & Jimmy are not nuclear type scorers and neither is Lowry, especially at his age. Locking down Robinson and Herro is the key to killing Miami.

Atlanta insists on playing Young together with Bogdanovic and that means party time for the opponent's guards.
You can maybe hide one bad defender, but two is getting too much.

He missed the entire preseason and the first week and a half of the season. I'd wait awhile before judging him.

Cant remember ever seeing a stat line of a guy going 5-17 from the floor n not taking 1 single shot from anywhere inside the 3 point line. Not a layup not a mid range shot incredible that all 17 shots were 3pts

Duncan "Analytics" Robinson

I guess 3>2 doesn't always work as advertised.

Can't really argue against that, tbh.

It's interesting that the 2 Finals teams are at .500 and the two other semi finalists are under .500. The short off season is definitely a factor and we knew it would be.

Robinson started 3/4 and finished 2/13.

Also, not too worried about the shooting numbers yet for Cade. Hasn't really had much of a lead up and Ant had seemingly dozens of 3/14 type games last year before turning it around in the 2nd half of the year.

Miami lead the NBA in shooting luck. Regression lead then to a 78 point game.

Well, that, and giving 32 minutes to PJ Tucker.
