if he's healthy he's a wing who can shoot, pass, rebound, defend, and won't tuck-tail in the POs

Yeah, but we don't know who would/would not come here. Just like we don't know the condition of Ingles' knee...

Let's see how FA plays out. Maybe this is the best use of the TPMLE..

Whenever the Bucks sign a player, I wonder whether they got him for the drop defense or to switch. I loved the Beauchamp draft because they were thinking primarily defense.

With the Ingles signing, we know he can't switch, so it means more of the drop. With the drop, it doesn't matter because the other team will have open threes whether it's Ingles, Jrue, Giannis, etal So if you're going to play the drop, you might as well have shooters.

I don't want Ingles on the court in a close game where defense matters. But Bud will be Bud.

As to his offense, he was horrible last season, but before that he was really efficient.

A one year risk on Ingles is fine. He’s a good player but we’re prob acquiring him a year or two too late. Given all the overpays out there today, this one is relatively minor.

Yeah, but we don't know who would/would not come here. Just like we don't know the condition of Ingles' knee...

Exactly. We don't know what we don't know. This certainly could turn out to be a bad move. But we also can't assume there were better options, players who wanted to come here, that we simply ignored for whatever reason.

We're a team that was a slippery floor away from another Finals appearance and possibly B2B titles. We had no cap space and a late first rounder. I'm not going to get upset over phantom moves that we "should have" made that most likely were not possible for a variety of reasons.

Can't wait for the season to start.

To be fair only reason we won a finals was due to injury and that slippery floor excuse is lame because we still would have had to get past the Heat, we would have been waxed by Golden State too.

But Ingles prolly doesn't shoot 17 percent from 3. I don't like the Ingles move but everytime I've watched him he was a baller. He's lost a step and is a below avg defender but if he can shoot 37 percent from 3 in playoffs that's a big plus. Bucks seem to miss every goddamn 3 in the playoffs.
