I'll probably end up a Luka fan by the end of these playoffs, especially if they play Boston.

After the deadline the Mavs attempted 53 lob attempts. The Bucks attempted 63 the whole season.
Has Dame ever been a lob passer? Feels like Khris is the only guy that is halfway decent at it. Wish it wasn't above Giannis to have some designed dunker spot drive and lob plays in the cards.

He's tone down the whining in this series. That's the thing I can't stand about him.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I was wrong on the initial numbers, there's different "types" of lobs and I only looked at the dunks ones. Bucks actually made 90 lobs on the season, Mavs 144 (74 post deadline).
I looked this up one by one because I couldn't find it anywhere but Giannis completed 68 lobs. 41 were from Khris, 13 from Dame, 5 Brook, 3 Payne, 2 Pat, 1x each Beas, Ajax, Gallo and Jae.
Brook had 15 lobs. 8 from Middleton, 6 from Giannis and 1 from Beas.
For **** and giggles I checked the 2015-16 season where we had Miles Plumlee as a lob threat guy and Giannis assisted on 14 lobs to Plumlee, only 2 to other players.
Not really sure Dame is a lob guy, but Khris and Giannis sure as hell are. Watching all these pick and rolls Khris basically anywhere off the pick and roll is a deadly lob thrower. Giannis at the elbow with a man in the dunker spot is nasty.

could just be me, but i dont really enjoy the lob game. i get the strategy and math behind it, it just feels like when you play someone in a video game and they have found the highest percentage strategy so they just keep spamming it over and over..
i think i may dislike Luka more than the Celtics..so...

Have zero animosity towards Jason Kidd. Guy came in and gave the franchise instant credibility. Got the team to the playoffs in year one.
More importantly helped Giannis become a man, and did very effective lobbying in Madison and around town for the new arena.
In Dallas, he’s basically doing the tough job of managing the egos of two supernova point guards.
My only issue with him was Momma. They promoted the heck out of her in year one. Then she disappears like older brother Chuck from Happy Days and no one asks any questions about it. (Well that and him being half-GM. He sucked at that)

As someone mentioned earlier Luka’s whining can be reallllly annoying. But I feel almost all stars do it. But watching him play, man oh man, what a talent. So methodical in breaking down defenders. And Kyrie’s handles. Just a fun duo to watch click. Not that I care, but I really want Mavs, then Wolves, then a huge gap before Pacers, then an even bigger gap before Celtics.

They are fun. Glad more are acknowledging that. Beforehand I knew the Wolves didn't match-up w/ their stars.
Rooting for the Celtics over the Mavs is a bannable offense, IMO.

Luka embarrassed Rudy but he’s still the best defender in the league and one of the best ever.

In order of preference
Dallas, I want Doncic to win, he is an amazing talent and competitor. Funnily this is not his best postseason so far, i think he carries some injury. Dalllas made some nice trades in the deadline that helped them improve their defense.
Minnesota, I like that in the small ball era they created a big, athletic team that plays defense. I am indifferent to Gobert but he gets attacked so much by the media and other players that i will enjoy if he shuts them up.
Pacers/Celtics basically i do not want any of them to win. Normally i dislike Celtics more but they were the best team in the regular season by far, so at least if they win you can say they deserved it (even though they had the easiest path to the finals in living memory). Smart is not there anymore so I dislike Celtics a bit less compared to the past

TJ McConnell is a guy you should love when he's on your team and hate when he's on the other team except you love him no matter what team he's on.
