If Bamba can be had for cheap I’m all about it. Would be perfect for him to learn the nuances of the game from the Lopez Bros.

The way Ersan is playing we might resign him for a few more years this offseason.

Regardless of how old dear Arsen really is, DJ Wilson might not be that close to beating him out for 2nd string PF minutes for some time.

Totally possible the Bucks are happy with having him in case of injury and to make it extra-easy for Giannis to load manage!

The extra year we have DJ locked up would also come into play if we had to attach him or Sterling Brown with the Pacers pick to acquire some kind of (low-salaried) upgrade.

He's actually already signed for next year, the decision is just whether we pay him $7 million, or release his non-guaranteed deal. Myself, like most I think, have been operating on the idea that this is his last year here, but I should realize by now that vampires age differently.

Im just gonna trust that Jonny boy wonder makes the right decisions as far as asset management goes. Hes done fairly well as a GM so far in his tenure. Theres no real reason to think he's gonna start **** it up now. If he thinks the best thing for the team to win is ride it out, then put your seat belts on and lets go. If theres an upgrade out there he can get us without messing with much, equally as great.

Would you do this trade w/ Orlando, and would Orlando:
MKE gets: Evan Fournier, DJ Augustin.
ORL gets: Eric Bledsoe, Wesley Matthews, Sterling Brown, First Round Pick (Indy's?)

How is this an upgrade?

Think the best move is a Sterling, Wilson and a 2nd consolidation trade.

I didn’t realize Ersan had a team option for another season.

His strong play of late is making it seem more and more likely that we bring him back for another year instead of dealing him as an ending contract.

Because you think we want to keep the Pacers pick, or there aren’t available players who would make it worth including it?

A consolidation trade might be worth it for the locker room if Brown and / or DJ are antsy about their career trajectory. However if they don’t have that much value on their own we might be looking at more of a lateral move in that case.

Holding out hope they have value for us or on the open market! Wilson has shown plenty of flashes (even if Bud doesn’t trust him fully) and Brown seems like a guy who could fill in on plenty of teams in desperate need of wings.

I can't believe people still think we will be ok in the playoffs.

But what do you mean ok, how ok for he playoffs are you really supposed to look around Christmas?
Unless you take advantage of a once in a lifetime alignment of planets and you end up with 4 All Stars like the Warriors, nobody is a sure thing in the playoffs. In December Lebron's Cavs and Kawhi's Raptors looked like they had a chance, that's it, they never really looked ok until the last game of the playoffs had been played. You take your team to that top 2-3 level and then keep banging on that door year after year until it opens. No guarantees.

I like the Brown/Bender/Wilson/Pics to SAC for Bogdanovic. I don't know what why SAC does it but I like it.

“Multiple first-round picks” for Bogdan seems steep.

Then again if the Kings really like DJ and / or Brown maybe we wouldn’t be so far off with a package centered on the Pacers pick.

The Sacramento Kings could get pretty expensive as soon as next season, making impending restricted free agent Bogdan Bogdanovic a key player to watch at the upcoming trade deadline. While the Kings don’t necessarily have to trade him soon, the Serbian guard is likely to command a starting salary of $16 or $18 million next summer, according to ESPN Insider Bobby Marks.

The range of offers will start at the qualifying $10.7 million, but due to his restricted free agent status, the Kings could fetch multiple first-round picks for him, according to an NBA executive.

How much value does Sterling have? Could we get a pick or some good stashed Euro for him?

DJ, Sterling, Pacers first and one of their seconds might get it done. Might. It would at least force the other contenders to bid more.

But you’d really have to be ready to go into the tax with a 4/$75 type deal for him in the offseason.

If this were on the table, I'd do it. DJ and Sterling will not see non-garbage time minutes in the playoffs. Sterling is probably gone after this year and Wilson chance at minutes is blocked until his rookie contract is up. Crowder is a guy they could throw out there for defense and corner threes if Wes just doesn't have it. Plus, he is expiring so no taking on salary next season and no giving up valuable picks.

Why? Just let him walk if that’s the case. Wilson isn’t ever going to have a pronounced role with Giannis here, and Brown is all but gone. Losing the Indiana pick could suck, but that’s about it.
