I've recorded it but haven't watched yet. According to Wiki it first aired a year ago and season 2 will be next year. I had never heard of it before seeing it promoted on AMC.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I wish someone would force Zack Snyder to stop making movies.

It'll probably suck, the internet will demand that they #ReleaseTheDirectorsCut, and we'll get a 5-hour version of the same bad movie that #SnyderVerse fans will call a masterpiece.

Crucial edit. I will watch and likely enjoy this.

Making them "smart" feels like a bad mistake.

If you go in to a Snyder movie thinking you're getting a Fincher/Villeneuve/Chazelle etc. level of movie, you're gonna have a bad time. Take it for what it's worth. He's the new Michael Bay. Get high or have a drink and watch the muted colors go boom.

My recommendation is to watch the best disaster movie in forever instead, 2020's Greenland. That's a motherf*cker of a flick that will hit hard.

It was laughably awful. One of the worst movies I've ever seen actually.

I'll be checking out Greenland. Love disaster flicks.

Greenland was solid. Enjoyed Kong vs Godzilla for what it was, like the others in that universe better however.

I mean, I'm glad Han is in the movie, I liked the character... but yeah, I agree. That said, these movies have become more ridiculous from a storyline each installment, so why not? It'll be some good, mindless entertainment - I'll definitely watch.

Lol, saw that coming. He's not *bad*, though. It'd be kind of like making a greatest American actors list of Brando, Hoffman, Matt Damon. Not really, though. TBH I wouldn't have picked the other two either!

In any case, Chazelle is way better than Snyder. Actually I'd probably put him about on par with Villeneuve who I think has been slightly overhyped by cinephiles but has definitely made consistently good movies.

I only love one of Chazelle's movies, but it's a movie I REALLY love.

I think Whiplash and La La Land are damn near perfect in their respective genres. Very excited to see what Chazelle does next with Babylon.

Did anyone here watch The Eddy on Netflix? Meant to start that but never did. I’m a sucker for any type of jazz content.

I'm not a Synder fan, but he's good at a particular kind of highly stylized framing, particularly action shots. I enjoyed Dawn of the Dead quite a bit once upon a time, both because it leaned into his strengths, and also fast zombies are just so much more compelling than plodders. Making the zombies smart sounds **** terrible, though.
