It’s such a glaring difference between how much the Bucks got **** on last year for winning in 7 against the Nets down their co-star vs. this year no one giving a **** that it took the Celtics 7 to beat us down our all star.

Zach Lowe's podcast is normally very good but his most recent version with Doris Burke is nauseating. Just a 1hr long Celtics lovefest. Every time they get to some decent analysis they go down another rabbit hole of how great everything Celtics is.

Contrast this to every media discussion about the Bucks last year being "a Kevin Durant toe away" from not winning the title.

TBH, Simmons has probably been the most objective national media guy and surprisingly the least nauseating to listen to when talking about the Celts (and that says something).

Feel lowe is dragged down a lot by being associated with ESPN and expected to bring in ESPN names.

Klay Thompson is doing one hell of a Grayson Allen impression against Boston.

I think it's going both ways. Both teams being allowed to be physical. Curious they call, for example, an O foul on Poole for kicking his legs out on the three (the right call) but nothing called on Brown at the end there.

Not sure if a hot take, but Warriors look really overmatched. Horribly cliche but the Celts biggest obstacle is getting over the collective yips they seem to go through as a team at times in a series. If they play to their ability as the better team, this'll be a 4-0 or 4-1 series.

They look overmatched to me too. The score doesn’t show it yet, but BOS is getting what they want on offense, what they’re doing is sustainable.

GS is scrambling and fighting for every basket. Not sustainable.

Completely agree. If the Celts disrupt their sets early in the clock, the Warriors have no chance in iso spot. Once the Celts start making some shots it'll be game over. But Boston tends to get stupid for long stretches which is the Warriors' main hope.

I'm still erring on the side of giving Klay a break this year. After the injury issues he has had the past two years, next year will be the big gauge of where he's now at as a player. But early returns this series don't look good. His movement looks a lot slower than it used to be.

I meant on the potential double T that would have had Draymond ejected.

Warriors can't finish anything at the rim when Rob Williams is in the game.

Oh, right. Yeah, fair call. They def took a liberal interpretation there to keep Draymond in it.

But I think it's fine. It would've been disappointing to have one of the most important players in the game ejected for that (albeit there's a fair argument there to say he could've easily got his 2nd tech).

Dubs having hard time finishing even with no Timelord out there. No accident imo. It’s like us missing open 3s vs them. Good Ds have that effect on you i guess.

Someone's gotta tell him you don't need to spike the ball out of bounds on some of those blocks

Celtics should get all the smoke they ask for. They put their hands all over opposition. Refs gotta call it both ways. Unfortunately Bucks didn't get that kind of call equity.

Klay just smoked Brown with the slowest hesitation move in NBA history.

This is probably the unofficial price we pay for having Giannis and his physicality.

I don't understand the inconsistencies when it comes to what is or isn't continuation.

Marcus Smart and Draymond Green yelling at the refs after every whistle. Name a better combo.

Only watched this half but Looney has looked like a difference maker. Just really solid play.

Return to Milwaukee Bucks
