If you're paying Doc Rivers $40 mil or whatever just let him pick his staff. I wouldn't want a stranger on my bench if I was head coach. It was obnoxious when they stuck AG with Stotts and Baker. It'll be obnoxious if they "force" Doc to keep a guy or two.

There's no harm in keeping some people around that are established within the organization and well liked by the players. You can't turnover everyone mid-season.

Not only that but these coaches aren't getting paid millions like Adrian Griffin afaik so throwing them out of the job in the middle of the season would be kinda cold. I'm sure Doc will be able to hire his guys but they mostly have other jobs right now anyways.
