Finished The Good Place. My god that was good and hilarious. Loved it the more the show went on.

Shouldn't have been surprised. The show is written/run by some of the funniest online people.

I was randomly pointed to the show a couple weeks ago and forgot about it. Remembered it and watched it all in like 4 days. I rarely give a network comedy a shot (probably wouldn't have without Kristen Bell being the star) but it was actually pretty good stuff. I'd recommend it as well. Of course the network shows aren't going to be as gritty or touch the same subject matter as the ones on FX, HBO, etc, but there's a place for a just a good basic comedy sitcom (of course Good Place has to be watched in order from the beginning though). I also vouch for The Goldbergs and Blackish in the same realm.

Ooooo, I like the lists. Gives me ideas. Mine:

Currently watching:
- The Americans (S1 E6)
- Deadwood (S2 E5)
- Love (S1 E7)
- This is Us
- Real Time
- SNL

In the queue:
- Bojack Horseman
- The Night Manager
- Black Mirror
- The OA
- Narcos
- House of Cards
- Sneaky Pete
- The Man in the High Castle
- Z: The Beginning of Everything

Waiting to start again:
- GOT
- Veep
- Silicon Valley
- Curb
- Twin Peaks
- This Week Tonight
- Master of None
- Peaky Blinders (last season was a disappointment for me)
- Girls (This show makes me want to punch my TV but my wife watches it and I've seen all the seasons so...)
- Bloodline (might have jumped the shark, i.e. getting slightly ridiculous; but I like to finish what I started)
Everybody wants to go to heaven but nobody wants to die.

**** yes! I usually steer toward the more suspenseful, mind-trickery content, but Love is a great show.

Season 2 is coming out soon I believe, finally, and will take precedence in my queue upon release.

Don't really have any series I want to watch right now that aren't on anymore other than The Night Of. I'm currently doing my first proper rewatch of The Office and after that I want to go back through Breaking Bad for a 3rd time.

I'm mainly just watching movies from the past year to pass time.

Great episode of It's Always Sunny. It was a spoof of the Making of a Murderer documentary, surrounding another case that Dennis was a suspect in. Spoiler:

Spoiler:
Dennis was cleared, but I do think he actually murdered her. He had the clear motive, and that was just a coincidence he was there to find Maureen's body and call police? Gimme a break. He was down there celebrating after he had given her the cat tranquilizers and sent her up on the roof so she'd fall off and he didn't have to pay for the alimony and cat transformation surgeries any longer.

BTW, the few minutes with Charlie doing the impression of Dassey saying yeah repeatedly like he and the Avery family did, and the pro wrestling tie-in to the confession, listing a bunch of wrestling moves they supposedly used on Maureen before killing her was classic. You really needed to watch Making a Murderer in order for that to really resonate though. But it was ridiculous how much that kid was obsessed with wrestling to the point that was all he was worried about at the time in not getting released from prison. Feel bad for the kid, he got railroaded, but this spoof was still hilarious.

I had mainly stuck with It's Always Sunny due the characters and their development, but some of the storylines this season have been good again thankfully to make it more enjoyable.

Had tears in my eyes during the Charlie interrogation bit and phone call with Dennis.

The Expanse. It's got sci-fi, political intrigue, and noir. I binged season one in a few days, season two just started last night. It's the best show of its kind since Battlestar Gallactica.

You had me at BSG which is my GOAT Sci-Fi and maybe GOAT period. I'll have to check it out. I'm so far behind on TV it's not even funny but I'm intrigued.

Small thread on the media lounge. No spoilers. I don't want to get your hopes too high because it's not as amazing as BSG (yet...there's potential), but it's definitely in the same category and very, very good.

For the first 2.5 hours of the Superbowl the most exciting moment for me was the Stranger Things Season 2 trailer. Oh man I got super excited.

Am I the only one who just didn't get into Stranger Things? It just didn't grab me for some reason.

I'm an 80s kid so it was the best thing ever for me. Playing d&d, riding bikes, mix tapes, Winona Ryder.

I thought it was pretty good in the beginning but my interest faded as the season went on.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I just started the 3rd season of the 100 on Netflix. Once i got past some of the cheesey CWness of the show its a pretty entertaining watch.

I could've done without the high school romance subplot, but it's a necessary evil for the more authentic throwback feel. They also delayed revealing crucial aspects of Eleven's character for too long. To the point where it's understandable that people would lose interest.

I still was a big fan though. The van flip scene is ****** awesome.

Lol, I was going to say you had me at BSG too then I saw yours, lol. I am in. I just started sneaky pete though so I need to finish that first. Must say I am digging it so far but I am only 2 episodes in.
