Another possible trade target with the TPE is Robert Covington. T-wolves trying to create room.

Let him sign a deal with another team and match or don't match.

Brogdon likely doesn't want to be in Milwaukee. If he won't sign with Milwaukee, would you rather him walk for nothing?

No, I think it was really good.

I'm right there with you guys. The Bucks are in a position to facilitate. Teams will need us.

I'm with you guys. Very interested to see what this TPE is used for.

If we weren't willing to pay Brogdon that much, then get a return for him (and send him to a non-contender)

If this means another productive move then that's fine. If not...
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Guess we're pretty alone on that island but I feel very confident with that take. We got a big return for a guy who wanted out and we weren't going to bring back.

I love Brogdon and would have prioritized him ahead of Middleton. But I like the return and don’t think someone should fully judge this move until after we see if we can acquire something with the TPE

The return is fine for a guy you don't plan to bring back. The question is why we didn't bring him back if we were actually all-in on running it back.

Like, say, Houston shedding salary for Jimmy Butler? Where we replace Brogdon with Eric Gordon?

If we don't give up a pick there, that would be nice.

Plenty of time for the front office to prove this is the right call. But if it's due to LED not wanting to pay luxury tax...

Bledsoe wanted to be here. Malcolm is the guy rumored to openly want out all season.

A 3-point bomber like Eric Gordon sure would take the sting out of losing Brogdon.

Not sure I'd want to trade our new-found first round pick for a guy with only a year left on his contract. But he'd be a hell of a fit.

I don’t know how this will work out in the end. But it’s more exciting then bringing everyone back. I’d rather have Brogdon at that amount than Kris at his max contract though. But again, who knows what those assets turn into?

I doubt there's much protection on that pick right? maybe top five or so?

That would have been terrible though. Means you don't get a TPE so you have no avenue of replacing him.

We can all wonder why but Brogdon never once commented on wanting to be in Milwaukee, unlike Brook, Hill, Lopez, Giannis, Bledsoe, etc all before they signed new contracts.

Four year fully guaranteed deal who was a bit of a product of the scheme and injury prone.

Would be interested to know if the training staff had any input in this decision and think his foot is a major red flag.

Yah, this doesn't bother me all that much. That is big money for a player who hasn't been able to finish out a season healthy.

Now he gets to go to Indiana which is one of the worst states in the country.
